So sorry!

Hell yeah, the UK should have it’s own GDC. Hmm when is it again? September/October???
Comment by Savage — Feb 28, 2008 @ 5:09 pm
@ Savo
I’m pretty sure there used to be a UK GDC, or at least a European one.
I forget, my old mind is getting foggy!

Comment by Makasu — Feb 28, 2008 @ 6:19 pm
Maybe they can educate SCEE in digital distribution because they seem to have problems releasing stuff on the PSN.

Why is there no post about the utter unbelievable travesty of this weeks PSN update. THreespeech, who if not yourselves is going to let SCEE know the anger and disapointment of SCEEs customers. SCEE wont even give an official blog for Europe as America has.
This weeks update is the final straw, my patience has snapped I have lost confidence in the people who are running the SCEE PSN store. Who are these incompetent people. They are letting us all down and harming the Playstation brand.
there are over20 ps1 games pegi rated in europe and ready to go and these incompetent people could not even get 1 title to the store. That is a disgrace. There is no valid excuse for all the PSN missing content also.
Sack these people and get staff who are capable or close the European store and give us global access to paid content , its about time threespeech started to stand up on our behalf and pass our complaints to SCEE. Everthing about PS3 is really coming together with ONE GLARING exception. The SCEE Store is letting Sony down and causing damage to playstation. This situation cannot go on, action must be taken against the incompetent running of our store. It is losing money for sony and leaving potential customers with nothing to buy. What kind of store has no content??? is this soviet era russia ? who the hell is to blame for this gross incompetence and failure??? THIS HAS TO BE FIXED

2 trailers… come on!!! Where the hell is PAIN? It’s got DLC out for it in the US and yet it still hasn’t reached our shores on one of the dryest content weeks to hit the EU store. Give me a break!

Will the Sony delegate turn up late?
If they do turn up on time will they be unprepared?
Comment by Ton Capone — Feb 28, 2008 @ 7:58 pm
@7: What update? XD

Was really hoping the God of War demo for the PSP would hit the EU Playstation Store this week, what with us NOT being offered free UMD demos, either standard OR special edition.
Come on Sony Europe. Bow to public demand and start releasing demos rather than keeping them till after the game’s been released!
Comment by InstantKarmaUK — Feb 28, 2008 @ 8:59 pm
@14
This is a quote from an email I recieved THIS MORNING from SCEE regarding God of War PSP:
“Kratos unchained. Be one of the first to experience the Spartan’s PSP debut with the playable demo now available via PLAYSTATION Store (PC).”
The part about it being available now confuses me, as I can’t seem to find it anywhere! I know SCEE like to change release dates but doing it over lunch?! It’s gone from utter incompetance to blatant lies now…
Comment by laughingmantom — Feb 28, 2008 @ 9:23 pm
PSN update was again crap this week.
You know, we Europeans have something called “money”. We like to “spend” it on your “products”.
And 1 Euro = 1.5 dollars.
Do the math, release some good stuff and get rich(er).
Comment by DoggySpew — Feb 28, 2008 @ 9:45 pm
geez…
they didn’t even bother to do an update post.
i thought this blog was meant as a way to hear the fans and communicate with them.
Comment by Genki Rocket — Feb 28, 2008 @ 10:42 pm
@threespeech
Seriously you need to get the message across to Sony
I aint, really bothered, but the complaining from other ppl are starting to get really annoying
Comment by TGO — Feb 28, 2008 @ 10:49 pm
threespeech is just like sites like kotaku and destructiod except generally post all the news a day or two late.
Comment by Mr Right — Feb 28, 2008 @ 11:03 pm
Isn’t it strange how the people who tell you not to moan about the store updates/online feature (in game media bar etc) that it is free and that the PS3 is about the games are the very same people who mourned the loss of Phil Harrison so dramatically?
He was the man who was trying to get the PS brand to move in the online and community directions according to them.
So that Harrison’s memory is not tainted surely this lot too should come on board and start complaining like the majority of us about the state of the PS3’s online features and so called “store”.
I for one will continue to complain endlessly until SCEE do something which is to my satisfaction.

“Will the Sony delegate turn up late?”
No, I suspect he will turn up MONTHS LATE for the event although his effort will COST A FORTUNE, he’ll blame it on some kind of TRANSLATION/CERTIFICATION problem and obviously his speech will not be BACKWARDS COMPATIBLE.
However, you will be able to read it on the European PSN Store MONTHS AFTER it’s been published on the US Store because it was a PORT from another speech anyway, that some exec used nearly 1 YEAR AGO…
Comment by Zed Zee — Feb 29, 2008 @ 8:42 am
TS, can you answer this for me, and all of us:
What EXACTLY is your connection with SCEE? Who do you speak to in the company and what input do you have?
We all post here as we believe it to be the closest we can get to Sony but the complete lack of response suggests either you, or SCEE are ignoring us. I give you the benefit of the doubt that it’s them but if so, why do you keep posting such sit-on-the-fence responses, aren’t you angry at them?
Comment by TheShirts — Feb 29, 2008 @ 10:50 am
@ TheShirts – We have direct contact with Sony on a daily basis. We try to look after our users in a personal way as and when we can – from aiding with technical issues on email through to getting questions over to Sony and answers back. We are fully aware of the issues with the PSN and these are being dealt with. As soon as we have some news on this it will be shared with everyone. Until then feel free to hit us up on the email with your questions and as regular users know we will do our best to either answer them from here or from our friends at Sony.

@ThreeSpeech
Well then in the hopes of furthering public relations - I have a question:
What did each of you in the office have for breakfast this morning?
Legitimate question if I do say so myself
Also - did anyone see the MGS4 announcement on the U.S. site? Want that collectors DVD baaaad!
Comment by JohnSketch — Feb 29, 2008 @ 11:28 am
@ John - No breakfast yet ; ). UTIII draw to do now. Massive response on that one.
Comment by Three Speech — Feb 29, 2008 @ 11:49 am
Thankyou for the response.
You said you do your best to answer user questions but I rarely see that happen here. For example, what is Sony’s response the issues of the Singstore having nowhere near the number of songs they claimed at launch, which frankly borders on false advertising?
