Looks to me like yet another average looking, multi-platform FPS.
It’ll probably be a big disappointment on the PS3 as it’s not maximising the PS3 capabilities (Blu-Ray etc.) as it’s been developed to run on the other console too. Can’t say I’ll be rushing out to get this one in two week’s time.

Played this on the 360 - and must say it is a very bland looking FPS, although to be fair - a very interesting premise!
But still - it looks more last gen than Kane and Lynch did!

Waaah!
Can it be true?
It isn’t is it?
It is you know!
It’s yet another run of the mill, tried and tested, boring, unoriginal, effortless, lazy and crap first person shooter for my FPS3.
They can actually stick this where the sun doesn’t shine. I wouldn’t even play the demo.
Ultra saturated genre is the phrase that someone should bring to the attention of these idiots.

sorry but i just cant understand how they thought that by having germans attack new york would make for a good game. if all their doing is changin the back drop but keeping a very tierd and tested formular then why cant i have turning point : Oxford or turning point : milton keynes, then at least id have some fun i walking around familiar streets.

Och!
E-Role you just disclosed the extortionate updates that they’ll be releasing for this game.
Is nothing sacred?

Utter rubbish.
To the devs: Stop pumping out these dire unoriginal fps games. It’s just insulting, I know you’re doing it for a quick buck or whatever but seriously, enough is enough now. It’s 2008, the likes of valve and infinity ward are pi**ing themselves at you.
To sony: no-one wants this drivel! There’s enough tripe on the system already. Give us some exciting innovative titles - oh wait you just lost the one man who pushed those type of games, didn’t you?
If I wanted tat like this i’d play it on my old pc, not my next-gen system.

I think it looks quite good. The setting is intriguing, and I’ve been looking for an exciting FPS adventure since Bioshock.
However… No demo = no dinero.

“Turning Point lead platform was XBox 360, as the PS3 was not compatible with the Unreal Tournament 3 engine at the time.”
Quote from EDGE Mag.
That tells me that it is a port, it uses the UT engine and the reason for UT3 itself being late on PS3 was because Epic couldn’t get the engine to work properly, hence missing Xmas ‘07.
To be honest, ThreeSpeech, if you cannot carry the voice of PS3 owners back to SCEE and provide a balanced view of things, then you’re just as bad as the propaganda clips for this game.
