We had a hard time believing this at first, LOL. It would appear PS3 slash me up Soul Calibur 4 has some pretty cool guest characters.
Soul Calibur 2 saw Heihachi Mishima (from Namco’s other fighting game, Tekken) included in the PS2 version; even stranger than that, Link from Nintendo’s Legend Of Zelda was included as a playable character in the GameCube version of the game and Todd Mcfarlane’s comic book anti hero, Spawn, was playable in the Xbox version.
But it seems that Namco have taken the idea of guest characters to another level of coolness with Soul Calibur 4, including Darth Vader (in the PS3 version) and Yoda from the famous Star Wars universe. It was 1Up who broke the news, hinting that more characters from the Star Wars universe could be included too.
Crazy! Check out theses awesome screens.

If that is ingame, that has to be the best real-time Yoda I have ever seen.

I just read that Yoda will be exclusive to the Xbox 360, while Darth will be exclusive to the PS3. Though I suspect this is done so that a month or so later you can “pay” to download additional fighting characters for your respective favourite console.
Can anyone at TS or Sony confirm this?

My mum frequently tells me how I grew up overnight when star wars hit in ‘77, I see it the otherway around…
JohnSketch @ 1 summed it up perfectly, WANT WANT repeat to fade…

Voldo vs Vader - you know its gonna hurt!

I did notice that at no point in the trailer was Yoda fighting Darth Vader. If they are on different consoles it’d be a bit annoying but I can see why they’d do it.
I just hope, eventually, both/all are downloadable
