Calling all trench monkeys, starting next week, we will be running a Warhawk Competition open to 32 Three Speech users. There will be two preliminary sessions of 16 people with a final featuring the top four from each group, thus eight in total.
Listen closely as this is about to get detailed.
The first preliminary session will take place on Monday December 10 at 5pm (GMT) and will be made up of three games. The first two will be 10 minute warm ups - death matches. The third game will be a 15 minute dogfight to ensure it’s a level playing field. The top four players from the dogfight will proceed to the final.
The second preliminary session will take place on Wednesday December 12, also at 5pm (GMT) and will be in the same format as the first preliminary session.
The final will take place on Friday December 14, again at 5pm (GMT), with eight finalists. There will be one 10 minute warm up game which will be a free for all. The final game to decide the first, second and third places will be a 20 minute dogfight.
The games need to start at 5pm (GMT) to ensure we can monitor the winners of each round. The password will only be given out to the 16 people playing in each game and we will need everybody’s PSN ID so that we can verify the correct people are playing. Players can only take part on their allocated day.
To take part please make sure you will be available to play at 5pm (GMT) on all days and mail us at [email protected] with your name and PSN ID, so we can confirm your place in the respective game and send you the password.
The first, second and third place winners will receive a rather nice Warhawk trophy.
would this be a reason to make us go and buy the new levels!!!!
How much will it cost for these updates BTW ???
$4 like the USA ?

Well us gamers are right studs these days. None of that sittin in a dark room for days on end tryin to make our own games on C64s.Lol. Now, I think, games have been accepted into the main stream alot more than people think. Take a look at the quality and quantity of game advertisments scattered on the internet and accross our major cities. Times are changing peeps, maybe only slowly and maybe not enough, but it’s still enough change for the great news, that most peeps of the female persuasion can enjoy a good natter about games and actualy find us “geeks”, “nerds” or what ever attractive. One final point is that girls are sooo much better than men at games. fact. (especialy at Tekken where I just cant win aginst that GLwitch) L8rs!

Im up for it. I work shifts on an IT help desk so will be avaliable for the games (apart from Wednesday which I’ll be on lates until 7pm).
As long as Im in the Monday game rather than Wednesday… I’ll get cained at Warhawk I reckon anyway.

Do one sometime next year, Three Speech, and I’ll happily enter. Not to toot my own trumpet, (which is ironically what I’ll be doing next Wednesday), but I’m pretty good. Especially at Dogfights. I’m usually always #1 when I play.

I could make the second preliminary as I’m off that day but not 100% sure if I could make it home from work in time for the Final. 5pm is a silly time to have it when the majority of those interested work 9-5 day jobs.

Oh no! I just got an email telling me that the competition has been cancelled due to no-shows ruining everything. WTF? ThreeSpeech, I know you don’t want to name and shame, but I think they should be. Oh well.
