At the US PlayStation Blog Peter Dille, the VP of Marketing at SCEA, shows the amazing new PS3 adverts and explains the campaign behind them.
As Peter explains himself, ‘The spots feature some of our recent and highly anticipated first-party titles including Heavenly Sword, Warhawk, Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune and Grand Turismo 5 Prologue, as well as upcoming third-party exclusives such as Haze from Ubisoft and Metal Gear Solid 4 from Konami. I recall seeing some comments on this blog recently lamenting why we weren’t making a bigger deal out of Metal Gear. Well, get ready for a steady diet, because Metal Gear Solid is the mother of all exclusives and we can’t wait for its release.’
Also, an amazing trailer for Call Of Duty 4 which is looking simply stunning.
Finally, the US trailer for Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools Of Destruction.
Enjoy.

After seeing these must say -
WOOOOF!!!!

Saw those ads earlier, a marked improvement over their recent TV stuff so I hope we get them over here.
CoD4 is looking good. Maybe Manhunt 2 would have passed the BBFC if it substituted everyone’s head with a pumpkin. Surely no-one can be offended by pumpkin-on-pumpkin violence.

Grand Turismo 5 Prologue - why include this in the spots if it’s not even gonna hit our shores until at least March 08?? they should have gone with NFS:Pro Street instead, at least that’s out this year. i really wish Sony would stop hyping non-existing products like this.. especially as us early adopters are still sitting here twiddling our thumbs waiting for Home and LBP! it’s nothing short of false advertising!
