Gran Turismo, the world’s most popular racing series with over 47 million sales to date, have agreed a joint venture with Top Gear and BBC Worldwide to create content and a track for Gran Turismo 5.
Within GT5 gamers will be able to download episodes of Top Gear on a dedicated GT TV channel accessed via the PSN. Forty episodes of the motoring show will be available with the channel also hosting further news and features regarding the motoring world.
The test track used by Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond will be also be recreated inside GT5. Genius.

Can we see how The Stig drives the reasonably priced car round the TG track before we give it a whirl?
Comment by Savage — Oct 25, 2007 @ 10:37 am
E-Role, I think there is medication for that. Might even be an injection.

Thanks you PD, thank you Sony, thank you Top Gear, and thank you BBC.

Yeah but Top Gear is repeated almost DAILY on UK Gold, big deal. As for the test track, that could be interesting but I just wish they would get a move on and release this game. Or at least bring out Gran Turismo 5 Prologue Prologue Prologue…
Comment by Terry — Oct 25, 2007 @ 10:59 am
And then you also get to play as The Stig and race against a jet fighter on an aircraft carrier and plunge into the sea and-
Yeah, I know, not very GT-like…
Comment by hana_fubuki — Oct 25, 2007 @ 11:25 am
This is just like episodic content except for a simulator. How cool is that!? The other consoles can’t possibly come close to this…

Going round Gambon, and the Hammerhead, not sure about the Follow Thru (lol)
