Hey all. To celebrate the release of Jericho on October 26, those kind people at Codemasters have given us three sets of prizes to give away, consisting of a copy of the game and a T-shirt (click through to view). UK residents only, I’m afraid.
To enter the competition EMAIL the answer to the following question to [email protected]. All correct answers will be placed in our random winner generator (a hat) and three names pulled out randomly.
Who is NOT a Jericho Squad member?
Jones
Church
Delgado
Green
Rawlings
Black
Ross
Cole
Good luck!

I have entered but this new format of compo can only lead to regular folks winning the prize now.
I think I preferred the old format of guess the answer within the comment as was the DirT compo that was more ambiguous than Gordon Browns election mandate.
Still fingers crossed

How can it, it was easier on the last comp for the same people to win. As I get notified by RSS so am usually one of first on, therefore the old way would give me the better chance.
But as your on before me, maybe thats why you wan’t the old style back.
Play fair…..randomness wins everytime

I wouldn’t say she was efficient. I have to wait at least 30 mins for my tea when she gets in from work
Comment by Dan (BBRodriguez) — Oct 12, 2007 @ 11:25 am
Just to clarify.. Does that mean if we were to win, we’d be getting the game pre-release?
Or will the winners be announced FOR the release on the 26th..?
(I suppose I mean, simply, when are the winners announced!)
Comment by GIANT ENEMY CRAB — Oct 12, 2007 @ 11:26 am
Entered.. lets see how my luck is this week ! lol !
Still not got my copy of Dirt yet, so hopefully it’ll land on my doorstep soon !

There’s been a postal strike Paul, over a million parcels back logged I think so may take a bit longer than usual.

Come on threespeech, please have a comp where NON UK residents can win say New Zealand Please.
Sony New Zealand NEVER run comps, and when they do run comps the EXCLUDE New Zealand residents from winning see here for a example:
http://www.playstation.com.au/competitions/warhawk_terms.jhtml
“to employees of Sony Computer Entertainment companies, their agents, contractors, consultants, their families (including de facto spouses) or to other persons assisting with the competition.
3. The Promoter is Sony Computer Entertainment Australia Pty Limited (ABN 80 077 583 183) of 63-73 Ann Street, Surry Hills, NSW 2010 and Sony Computer Entertainment New Zealand Limited of 2 Nuffield Street Newmarket Auckland (“Promoter”).”
I mean come on Sony New Zealand is running the comp but only Aussies can win WTF!

Perhaps a Rugby game competition for the Aussies and Kiwi’s ?
Comment by Paul W — Oct 12, 2007 @ 1:17 pm
Looks like a case of once bitten twice shy after the answer through comments fiasco!
Codemasters are very generous folks! First DiRT and now Jericho, nice bit of good PR, or maybe they believe in karma!!!
Let’s hope other studios take a leaf out of their book and become as generous!
I might have a go at this, the demo was quite impressive (think I would prefer the DiRT keyring to the Jericho t-shirt though! lol).
Comment by Apnomis — Oct 12, 2007 @ 1:28 pm
@Paul W: No you want something really really region specific like Aussie rules football for the Aussies, Cabady for the Indians, Bog diving for the English.
Comment by Savage — Oct 12, 2007 @ 1:38 pm
@ Apnomis - hahaha… yeah - cheers mate.

Hi ThreeSpeech, we know the games will go out on the week-end of the release, but when will the winners be announced?
Comment by Savage — Oct 12, 2007 @ 3:17 pm
@ Savage - Hey. Winners will be annouced on Wednesday. Emily from Three Speech towers will be drawing names then.
Comment by Three Speech — Oct 12, 2007 @ 3:21 pm
Is Emily any good at ironing?
(Probably just ruined my chance of winning but wtf)
Comment by Dan (BBRodriguez) — Oct 12, 2007 @ 3:27 pm

Comment by Terry — Oct 12, 2007 @ 4:59 pm
@ Terry
I’m so glad you said that. I felt so alone
I think I start a self help group.
Comment by Dan (BBRodriguez) — Oct 12, 2007 @ 5:02 pm
Took me a good 4 tries to kill bohan - but after that he’s not been a problem -
Honed my skillz
Comment by JohnSketch — Oct 12, 2007 @ 5:25 pm
@46 & 47
The rest of the game is so straightforward to that point, the difficulty just goes off the scale in my opinion. Wheres that bird with the bow and arrow when you need her…
