My guess is that logo represents either the downloaded replays of best times like GT-HD does now, or it’s where you can watch races that others are taking part in, a feature that has been discussed by Polyphony.
BTW, how do you guys actually pronounce Polyphony? I break it up into the two parts Poly-phony (phonetically like this: pol-ee-fone-ee), because to me, I can see two words in there, but a friend of mine says it all as one (pol-if-on-ee). Which way is the generally accepted way to do it?
Why not post the new trailer?

This picture shows support for some interesting features including home and the mysterious ‘TV’ with a wi-fi graphic on the filmstrip icon..

@nekon
No point in posting the new trailer as the link takes you to a site that already has that trailer and a new one.

Again, SCEE look like a bunch of useless buffoons, GT5 videos coming on PSN next week, or you can download them from the site above NOW…
One day, perhaps PSN may get some exclsuives, but currently, it’s content thats available earlier elsewhere (foreign PSN, or web, gametrailers).

To be honest, I’d be pissed if these things were PSN exclusive, I much prefer to have a choice on where I download trailers.

Remember in the old days where trees would be like cardboard cutouts, so in this day and age of PS3 why are they still flat!!

Hey, anybody know if this is “in-game” footage?
I’m guessing it is (since release is in October), but it’d be nice to have confirmation.
Comment by Catharz — Jul 20, 2007 @ 5:56 am
@Catharz: It looks like replay footage. In GT4 ingame was quite near to replay quality.
I’m really looking forward to this game, but can’t afford the hardware at the moment.

I was educated recently on the pronounciation of Polyphony. Phil Harrison said poll-if-on-ee.
Anyway, looking fantastic!

Im hoping the film strip/wifi thing is some hint that we might see some connectivity to the elusive psp GT (where on earth is that??)

Well, it’s the end of the week, and no GT5 video on PSN as promised by ThreeSpeech. I feel let down.
You did the same thing to me with Syphon Filter classic release.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me
