Three Speech, you might want to start reading the PlayStation.Blog. The Motorstorm update has been postponed again.
Comment by Travis — Jun 15, 2007 @ 4:17 pm
I’ve already downloaded it. It’s up there. Just make sure you update Motorstorm (by entering the game and going online) before you ge the update from the Store.
Comment by Jamie — Jun 15, 2007 @ 4:24 pm
No it hasn’t, it’s on the store right now.
Comment by Tony — Jun 15, 2007 @ 4:30 pm
Ahaa! Finally some PSone games, looking forward to CaC and SSHD.
Comment by Shin-Ra — Jun 15, 2007 @ 4:36 pm
At last! Updates here we come!
Also guys, watch out. Be sure to download an update in MotorStorm before you download the TA mode from the Store.
Comment by Youlikeyams — Jun 15, 2007 @ 4:50 pm
Finally some PSOne games, been waiting long for this.
And hey ThreeSpeech, you should welcome the new (fully) official PlayStation Blog.
Comment by Wollan — Jun 15, 2007 @ 4:53 pm
So, are you guys saying that in Europe the MotorStorm update is on your store?
Comment by Michael Torres — Jun 15, 2007 @ 4:53 pm

Comment by .ram — Jun 15, 2007 @ 5:01 pm
Nice finally some PSone games, i hope the price will be cheap, like flow & blast factor !
5euros MAX a PSone game is ok ! a buy 2 get one free would be cool too, with the late PSone games for EU players :p
Cant wait for Resident Evil 1 !!!
Comment by Camelocb — Jun 15, 2007 @ 5:11 pm

Comment by Surtur — Jun 15, 2007 @ 5:27 pm
YESSS Finally this is what is needed thx for the update about the update
Comment by Mushy — Jun 15, 2007 @ 5:43 pm
@6
That is strange. My guess is that they decided to release it in Europe but not in the US. The PSBlog post is still up http://blog.us.playstation.com/2007/06/14/motorstorm-were-bummed-about-a-bug/ with no correction/update as of yet. So did they just release a buggy version for Europeans?
Comment by Travis — Jun 15, 2007 @ 5:48 pm
Possibly. If you download time trial without updating to 1.2 (which I didn’t know about) then it crashes the PS3 when you try to play the game.
Wouldn’t be a problem but I’ve got a large download queue and it’s still downloading.. so it’ll be a while before I can hit the big switch and try again.
Comment by Tony — Jun 15, 2007 @ 5:57 pm
Excellent news. Thanks to Sony for listening to us customers, we’ve had a bit of a game shortage recently, a few more weeks of updates like the above and the PS Store will go from strength to strength.
Comment by Paul — Jun 15, 2007 @ 6:12 pm
Nice, finally some PS1 classics!
Comment by Tom Eccles — Jun 15, 2007 @ 6:12 pm

Comment by gansta — Jun 15, 2007 @ 7:46 pm
Ok, I didn’t do the motorstorm update first. Now MotorStorm doesn’t start anymore.
What can I do to fix this?
Comment by ouweRammer — Jun 15, 2007 @ 8:01 pm
Hasn’t all this stuff been out for a while? Why is this news now? Is this for overseas (europe) because I am pretty sure I have been playing syphon filter for a couple weeks now…
Comment by matthew — Jun 15, 2007 @ 9:42 pm
21, you must delete the 1.1 patch to fix your problem.
I think your problem was downloading the new mode from the Store before updating the game. You must install the 1.2 patch BEFORE installing the Time Attack mode.
Comment by PSMotion — Jun 15, 2007 @ 10:14 pm
I hope the European PSN network get’s stuff like this faster than the US. I miss some of the demos that came on the US PSN.
Hope Europe get’s this the 22/06 I can’t wait.

woot medievil! great game! dumb question but are these for the eu store? and i wanted to see MGS, i wonder when that’ll be put on the store? just before MGS4 comes out for a guess
Comment by T1TN — Jun 15, 2007 @ 11:11 pm
I found the update on the site just after midnight (Aussie time). I tried installing it, but it broke MotorStorm PSMotion is right about the way to fix it.
Unfortunately, it appears the update has disappeared from the PSN store again. I suspect it was an over-sight that some stores got it and they quickly rectified it. :\

YEY for Crash Bandicoot! Cant wait.

Anything like this that you’ve downloaded will be removed from the standard download list and placed in your downloads section, go into that and download again.

Yep, Motorstorm working nicely.
The new basic games on the store are a bit rubbish. Wasted a few quid there, but it’s nice to see the store updating.
Comment by LordOfRuin — Jun 18, 2007 @ 12:20 pm
Hey, who do we talk to to get a game made into PS3 goodness?
Here is a damn damn addictive web game that could do with some attention like the Flow game.
http://novelconcepts.co.uk/FlashElementTD/play.asp
Lush high res graphics and extended game play would make this a monster for the PSstore. Mmmm! I wonder if it’ll work from the browser.
