We’ve been given ten spaces for Three Speech regulars on the second phase of the Home beta trial, which is due to start later in the summer.
To qualify for a bout of major bragging rights among your mates, you’ll need to be based in the UK and have access to the PSN Store; and we’ll need your email sign-in address. Once the second phase is underway, you’ll be contacted with details of what to do next.
We could ask you to dance, fight, sing etc for the spaces, but nah, there’s not really a fairer way than to say we’ll dish them out on a first come, first served basis. Email us at [email protected] super quick!

I would ask what about the US users like myself, but I’m confused about the 10 spots opening in the summer. I thought the “open beta” during the summer was available to anyone that wanted to download the beta. I’m in GAP and got an email last week that I wasn’t chosen for the Beta yet but to keep checking my email, so I’m hoping to get in this week or the next.

I am a big fan of ThreeSpeech.com and the friendly community here. I made www.homebetatrial.com my home page over a month ago. I see it everytime I go onto the internet in the home of a beta inivite!
But yesterday I didnt have PC on because of a minor emergency, and I think I missed the gold rush.
Still, I will keep the faith that an invite is coming my way. Fingers-crossed!

Silence- Because I believe that ThreeSpeech is probably headquartered in the UK. They seem to have a lot of contact with Sony London, SCEE, etc. Doesn’t seem like they’re involved with SCEA or SCEI. I’m from the US and pretty much just check this out for news, but I’m just hoping that they can turn this into a blog for the entire Playstation community and not just for UK users. US users have Playstation Underground and GAP, but those aren’t really for information, mainly just forums and beta tests if you’re in GAP. This should be used as more of a mouthpiece for Sony as a whole, IMO.

Think you are clever? i have 3 PSN accounts, a UK, a US, and a JP. My UK PSN is St0RM-UK.
Three Speech and SONY has restricted these invites only to UK so don’t complain. Sony has to TEST not to give invites just for fun. The invites are for BETA testers so Sony will helped as we will find the bugs of HOME!

Er, Storm53, chill out. Don’t be so serious! Sure they need to test it, but with accounts being ‘given’ away like this, on a ‘postive PR’ site such as this no less - it’s not like people are being chosen especially for QA skills or anything. Just by merely logging on and using home, they’ll be doing enough - testing concurrent users in all sorts of situations.
Anyway. I just wanna say DAMN you Google Reader. I was sat at work, working late till half 7 and Reader didn’t give me the update to show this fresh news on the night.
