There’s a new Assassin’s Creed trailer making its way around the internet and if you liked the last one as much as us, then it’s definitely worth a watch. This chilling trailer goes under the name “Templar” and shows the very same planning their revenge against Altair, the main character. Watch below.

F.E.A.R fans - here’s some news about the sequel. It officially got its name today: Project Origin. It was actually named by fans who sent in suggestions to the developers.
“Our team really enjoyed letting the fans drive the naming process, and we are excited to expand upon the work we began in the original game and establish Project Origin as a premier gaming franchise in its own right”
You can find more info on the name here – as well as some of the rejected names that were sent in.
This is complete speculation and we’ve not - repeat NOT! - heard anything through official channels, but various websites claim to have spoken to ’sources’ who suggest that BioShock will in fact be coming to the PS3.

Some confirmed/almost confirmed release dates for you…
Warhawk They’re “aiming for” for August 28 on the PSN, at what we think is a very decent price of £19.99. The retail version, bundled with a Jabra bluetooth headset, is due September 21 at £39.99.
Heavenly Sword is due September 14.
Folklore - TBC, but the plan is October 12.
Lair - Also TBC, but the plan is October 26.
Hope to be back with more news before the day’s out.
A quick random but interesting bit of info for you: according to Develop Mag, out of the Heavenly Sword Blu-ray disc, a whopping 10GB is taken up by the sound effects and music alone. That includes three and a half hours of music, and four and a half thousand lines of dialogue. Looks like when ‘Chief Design Ninja’ Tameem Antoniades said that Heavenly Sword couldn’t be done with DVD, he wasn’t joking!

We managed to get Three Speech reader/regular/contributor Tom Eccles into the SCEUK offices today to try out the E3 build of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. Here’s what he thought…
Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune is a new venture for the Naughty Dog team – previously known for the Crash Bandicoot and Jak & Daxter series. The mysterious trailer shown off at E3 2006 intrigued many. Since then, the game’s been demonstrated at this year’s E3 - the E3 build being what we got our hands on.

On Friday, Sierra Entertainment announced a new game called Prototype. Developed by Radical Entertainment, the game is set in New York and follows the story of Alex Mercer – who was part of a genetic experiment that went wrong. Since the experiment, Alex develops “shapeshifting” powers that enable him to take the shape, form and abilities of anyone by absorbing their DNA – which involves killing them.
According to the press release, it will be a “completely new kind of open world game” - and it’s set for release in Summer 2008. Here’s some screenshots for you…
In a recent interview with Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, game creator Kazunori Yamuchi said that he was hoping to have it ready by next summer. Of course, he’s probably talking about the Japanese release – and as Eurogamer points out, previous GT games have taken three to four months to show up in Europe.
If you’re dying for some next generation GT racing before then, download the GTHD Concept which is available free from the Playstation Store. If you’ve already finished that, then you’ll have to wait for GT5: Prologue, coming later this year.
As one of the games showcased pre-launch, Heavenly Sword, developed by Brit outfit Ninja Theory, has always been hotly anticipated. However, we’ll admit to being slightly worried about it – it always looked great, but would its sword-fighting gameplay cut the mustard? At last, we’ve got hold of pretty complete preview code and from the moment we popped it into our debug, our worries melted away. There’s no doubt it will be held up as an example of the sort of killer games the PS3 so badly needs when it arrives in the shops in September.
