See the girl in the video? Up to 1:30, her face is being simulated by technology developed by Image Metrics. We were amazed by the reality of those graphics here at Three Speech, but what’s even more impressive is that those guys from Image Metrics are the ones who are working on the facial animation for the characters in Codemasters’ upcoming game, Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising.

Nice minimal trailer for Operation Flashpoint 2. Not a lot going on in this one, but looks pretty cool nonetheless…

There’s a new video of Codemasters’ upcoming military title, Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising, available to download and view from the game’s microsite. We’ve just had a look and it’s well worth checking out - looks like the EGO engine has been working hard.
