I for one am glad to see the back of Reeves.
Every one of his interviews I read left me more and more convinced that he didn't know what he was doing.

I emailed Reeves about my concerns and complaints and he eventually fobbed me off to an underling who then replied whilst evading every single one of my points and then in true SCEE fashion stop communicating altogether after telling me to contact him any time about any of my concerns.
He headed up SCEE which is the worst PS3 region for content and communication.

This is Reeves legacy, no communication, worst PSN of all regions and don't even mention EU Home, it's laughable.

I hope his retirement heralds in a new era of honesty and open communication with the customer.

I would like to wish Mr Reeves a long & happy retirement.

He was instrumental in many defining decisions over his years in service & I believe the Sony PlayStation brand is all the better for his input.

Even if you are not aware of his part achievements you must give him credit for a reply whilst talking with representatives of the New Zealand-based ‘Button Masher’ web site in July 2008. Mr Reeves was asked about the delays in localising games for the PAL region, and responded:

"We are a PAL market and we are going to do it in PAL and we are going to do it properly, you can wait for it and you can have it in good quality, you know you can get the stuff from BitTorrent if you want to and download PSP games, it's up to you."

It is honestly like this that sets PlayStation apart from the competitors.

Well done, sir.
