I’ve been told that hawxs is good, so I’ll have to have a go on that. Although it’d never be as good as ace combat.

I really really reeeeeeeeeally wanted to like H.A.W.X. my only concern is that the game quasi-forces you to use a realy screwy 3rd person distant view when performing the really “zany” aerobatic work.
Should have just taken a page out of NAMCO’s book and taken the game mechanics from ace combat and plopped them into the game. The storyline on clancy games I love to bits…just with titles like Endwar and so-to-be H.A.W.X. I may need to give them a miss =(

Still waiting for Penny Arcade Adventures to come out in Belgium. ThreeSpeech announced it with a Euro price a month ago and it still isn’t out here, what gives? It’ s even announced as released on January 22 on playstation.be (when you search for the game, it’s there, even with a French description!)

Little Fart Planet, should be called Little FAIL planet. Just show my level and the game sells millions.

Comment by JohnSketch — Feb 26, 2009 @ 11:55 pm
I thought the Little Fart Planet was excellent.
Me and the missus bot stopped our conversation and watched it before laughing out loud.

Hawx was very disappointing. no sense of scale, weight, speed etc. and seriously…. its identical to ace combat. menus, layout, buttons, look, etc etc etc. they have just copy pasted and stuffed a poor 3rd person perspective in and removed the ‘fun’
Shame… I was really looking forward to this.

I checked the PSN at 17:30 (ish) and there was no update! Why does it take SCEE so long to get the updates on, I mean there’s a whole 24 hours in a day, what, do they suddenly get to tea time and think, “Crap! We’ve not done the update!?”
Comment by M0nk3y_R1mm3r — Feb 27, 2009 @ 10:47 am
Downloaded Hawx but haven’t tried it yet. I’m hoping it will be like the flying bits in Warhawk. Let’s see!
@mobiletone - I hope your kz2 turns up during the day

“LittleBigPlanet Killzone2 pack”???!!! I did eagerly log on yesterday actually expecting that they would have realised that putting the Helghast costume on the store was a good idea(it’s not even on the american store???)… But now the term LittleBigPlanet Killzone2 pack… Am I to expect something more!?

with all these random PSP game appearing, I’m tempted, but at 9.99 and no demo, I can’t see anyone really investing. With all the plans for PSP, there needs to be something to encourage people to actually part cash for these things! Even a trailer!

@18 [darkos87]:
The “Warhawk Command Center” (as you may have noted the spelling of ‘Center’ suggested) was only a US region PlayStation(r)Home release last week.
Europe is still waiting for the free “Resident Evil” T-Shirts in the Thread Store that the US had at the start of January too:
“Resident Evil Degeneration Claire Redfield T-shirt” [FREE]
“Resident Evil Degeneration g-Virus T-shirt” [FREE]
(However, I could never seem to download the second one due to an “Item cannot be selected at this time” error message)
@19 [Liquidcalm]:
I agree. So many PSP titles I have never heard anything about.
Perhaps Europe could do with a “Pulse” video magazine like the US has available for download so that the host (Christina Lee) could talk about the upcoming or new releases, offer some insight, and show some in-game footage.

got the demo and couple of songs for my Rock Band Hunger.
Comment by Mezzo — Mar 2, 2009 @ 5:20 am
I’ve tried the 360(SORRY) Demo of Hawx and thought it was brill, will download the PS3 version tonight.
See which one I prefer, I’m loving it that Hawx is fully co-op, should prove for a great laugh.
Although I’m waiting for the inevetable TopGun theme tune humming and being called Goose as the other player calls shotgun on Maverick or IceMan
