Big thanks to Three Speech reader MAGHERAFELT, who emailed this picture of his full-sized Sackboy costume.
As you can see it’s a pretty impressive piece of work. He pointed out that the costume is a bit ripped, apparently that happened after he went walking around town wearing it (it was Halloween at the time - he told Three Speech he’s been meaning to send the picture in for a while). Must have been all the adoring Sackboy fans…
If any of you have dressed up as your favourite PlayStation 3 character please let us know…

It looks like the Stay Puft marshmallow man from Ghostbusters!

It’s almost like a boy…has covered himself in sacks…to create a kind of “Sack-Boy”…
It’ll never catch on.

“It looks like the Stay Puft marshmallow man from Ghostbusters!”
I was thinking more ’sack head’ with the chainsaw in Resi 4.
No offence to MAGHERAFELT, but it certainly looks nothing like Sackboy. In fact, I think it looks quite creepy.

Nice attempt m8, very elaborate Halloween costume, and as pointed out it is actually quite scary looking!
That’s not necessarily your doing though, there’s something about Sackboy that means he’s only ‘cute’ when he’s small. It’s the same problem Sony had during their (dire) PS3 ad campaign over Christmas. They made a giant Sackboy appear on the side of a building, but rather than being rather charming like in the game, it looked more like Stay Puft’a evil twin!

I wouldn’t be suprised to see that thing clutching an axe or a machete.
LBP meets RE5…

Since 2002 I’ve not needed a costume to scare people…I walked outside and everyone ran away from me =(
Suppose it didn’t help I was holding a dead hamster between my teeth and had tic tacs falling out of my nose

Good effort mate! Pretty inspirational too, think i’ll make a start on one for this year . . .. probably take me 6-7 months since i’m so apathetic to “predesignated fun time”, but may be worth it
Again, Good effort!
