Nice to see that Flower at least gets some positive attention…unlike fl0w which the press pretty much shunned to the side with a “meh”

Comment by Saviour_sephiroth — Feb 18, 2009 @ 4:29 pm
Really? I might have to give it a look then. I’d heard from others that it was very short so not worth the money.

It is a lovely ‘game’, despite my initial reservations about the price. I spent around an hour on it last night after a brutal session of KZ2. It’s just the thing to bring down your stress levels and relax you.
I disagree with the people that say they complete the whole thing in a hour, they are missing the point I feel. You need to take your time, there’s no need to rush about in gale force winds, and you should never leave a field until you have unlocked all it’s ’secret’ flowers. You could easily spend an hour per field if you just used it to unwind and play for 100% completion…
Zen-gaming at it’s best

i’m not playing it for a few more days just to get another trophy (welcome back) but i very much enjoyed the experience so far, nice to just ‘fly’ around and chill out with.
Comment by mobiletone — Feb 18, 2009 @ 7:20 pm
Ok, after my initial moaning about the cost, I relented and bought it (after some wet taking from the wife that I was a stingy b*stard!) and I have to say it’s brilliant! Definately worth it! So relaxing that you just kinda melt into couch as you play. I’ve got a couple of trophies yet to get, anemly the Unscathed one (which is harder than I’d first thought!!!) but I agree with what people had to say, buy it, it’s great!
@ Mobiletone: I jipped that one by manually setting my PS3 clock to 7 days in the future, it works! Also means I can dip in everyday to unwind after work!

I love it.
I won’t go into any more detail than that here - if for some reason you want to know more on my view of the game check out what i wrote about it on my blog - http://elstefio.blogspot.com/2009/02/ill-never-look-at-flower-in-same-way.html
Ps - surprised no one here has picked up on the picture footnotes yet - “Photo credit: Sony Computer Entertainment/thatgamingcompany”

Amazing, an absolutely incredibly breathtaking experience that nobody should miss out on!
Flower truly encompasses the pinnacle of creativity, exploration and immersion. An awe-inspiring, magical title that brings out beautifully vibrant, realistic visuals and audio of the Playstation 3 to another level!
Amazing, truly amazing!mEveryone needs to try this!
There is nothing quite like it on any system thus far!
Thank you thatgamecompany, thank you Sony!

Explore the caves on the wind turbine level - and keep to the right when you. I think you may have to visit the cave twice.
Comment by nemo — Feb 20, 2009 @ 12:46 pm
Sorry mobiletone, not been online for a few days. As nemo says, on the wind turbine level, keep to the left of the valley and go into the cave (you can go left into the cave or right further round the valley). You find a secret seed if you go straight thru the cave. Go back into the cave on your next trip thru the valleys, but this time stick to the right tunnel inside the cave. There will be rock paintings on the walls of the creatures in flOw. The trophy will then be unlocked.
