The MGS DLC was a true highlight for me, loved every second.

i voted for LBP MGS 4 DLC looks very tempting.

I downloaded the “WipEout® HD Trial (Trial)” & found that I had made the right decision not to waste GBP 11.99 up to that point. Ho hum.
I also downloaded the “PAIN™” Version 2.53 Update, and last night attempted to upload a 3 minute window to YouTube directly from the title only to then find that the 11Mb resultant video file was too large for the 1Mb upload limit. Ho Ho hum.
“LittleBIGPlanet™” Version 1.07 Update brought a welcome addition to be able to see what content had been purchased previously & to allow you to jump straight into a purchased costume rather than selecting all the individual components from within the game.
Two of my kids (initially the 10 year old, but then later the same day, my 6 year old after seeing how easy it was) created their own LittleBIGPlanet levels.
All three (6, 7 & 10 years in age) spent many hours on this title over the festive period, and all four of us thoroughly enjoyed the “Tactical Espionage Splatterer” weapon (the “Paintinator”).
So, the “LittleBigPlanet Metal Gear Solid pack” gets my vote. The “Paint of the Patriots” was very entertaining. Much more so that the original title that inspired it. Ho Ho Ho hum

I enjoyed still not having Street Figher 2 HD remix and still having to play with gimps on Resistance 2.
Comment by SlapnutzUK — Jan 5, 2009 @ 3:21 pm
I enjoyed that SCEE still hasnt been even bothered to give us the missing trophy/rumble/level/ patches for
ECHOCHROME
BLAST FACTOR
EDEN
and that old favourite HVBOWLING

Where is Street Fighter HD, why has there been no offical mention of the delay, given the games been released in every region on the Xbox and PSN, except Europe.
The whole language difference simply isn’t an excuse any more.
COMMUNICATION is something SCEE still fail at.

@ fanpages - i’m with you on the Wipeout demo download, got a big fat -MEH- in my house. same ol’ same ol’ game as it ever was, i was always a RidgeRacer fan personally (RR7>W:HD), glad i saved my 11.99 and spent it on the LBP MGS level kit and costumes instead.
i downloaded the Battlefield: BC trophy patch too and have enjoyed replaying that title.
then there was Mirrors Edge, a title that surprised me by being rather better than i had been lead to believe, ok, so the combat is weak but the rest of the game more than makes up for it.
WTH is Dead Head Fred??
Comment by mobiletone — Jan 5, 2009 @ 6:19 pm
What is Dead Head Fred?
Nothing in the update really caught my interest. I’ve spent the last two weeks playing Crash Commando - if only their server browser was better, and I could connect to more games. Now it takes 10-15 minutes to find a connectable server.

@mtone/realdeal
Deadheadfred won some awards ages ago, can’t for the life of me remember where… Think Edge mag, I stuck it on my swapgame rental list to give it a whirl…
@ohhscee
What patches are missing for eden?
Yeah I am very narked no 1000 level + trophy patch for echochrome for us PALanders, also peeved at no SSF2THDR yet, but I keep hearing online is borked so maybe Scee are holding it back for “quality” reasons, or am I being optimistic? (new year & all)
However I have modded my 360 dpad & I can pull off Dragon Punches with ease in the demo, so if it’s not out SOON it’s another purchase lost from me Scee…
On a lighter note, not got round to buying the MGS-LBP pack, was waiting to see if it was “really” worth it, & every thing I have read seems to say yes…
*Goes off to buy it*

The updates were pretty meh - I was waiting for the new Lumines (up on US store but not here) but was disappointed
I’m interestred in Savage Moon, but with no demo (as usual) i’m not spending £7 on a game i haven’t/can’t try in advance
I ended up gettng Super Stardust HD from the special offer section which i’ve fancied for a while and very much enjoyed the demo of - well worth the purchase, great game

Hope my regional PlayStation Store is going to offer free downloadable “Tomb Raider: Underworld” content such as these…

“…two free outfits are skin tight, spandex-like and curve enhancing wetsuits…”
Hand-up all those who are pleased to see this?

THe best bit of the xmas update was realising that threespeech fails.
EU is STILL behind the US, and it’s getting worse.
Oh well, at least this pitiful answer to blog.playstation.com is dying slowly on it’s backside. Have fun with your declining readership, you marketing fools.
