Couldn’t agree more I’m on my 3rd ps3, and both times the same problem bluray died.
Was replace within 2 days of me making phone call. not only that I had no long wait on phone before someone answered, and spoke to a person as apposed to a machine.

Just hope single player is good, not just multi player, not long to find out…

Having experienced customer service from all 3, would have to agree Sony are the best, swapped my Phat psp with dead pixels next day (few days after launch)
& Nintendo the worse, my Wiis Gpu overheated after only 6 weeks resulting in black spots when playing games, & the shop I had bought it at had none instock to replace it…

So sent it to Nintendo, away for two weeks, checked the online status it said “no fault found” emailed them, but it was dispatched the next day. They had done nothing to it except play Mario Superstar Soccer on it for 3 hours (checking the playlog)

Rang the head-office of where I bought it, they arranged to replace it… (wish I did that in the 1st place)
Meanwhile Nintendo actually replied to the email three months later! Saying sent it back in… Marvellous!
