Why Sony, why are you not hyping the absolute hell out of this? And why hasn’t there been any kind of mention of a CE? I WANT to give you my money Sony.

Good job to GG, it certainly looks great and from all accounts it plays great, let’s hope it sells through the roof.

gears of war ‘mad world’ trailer is the obvious inspiration for this.

I was part of the Beta and really gave me the WOW affect….. I reckon this will be the best game of 2009 despite it being release in February.

Pre-ordered it back in November.

Sony, please, for the love of god, advertise the arse off this game - and start NOW. There’s no point spending all the money on development of a game this good (I was in the beta) and then not spending some serious money advertising it.

It needn’t even cost you that much to advertise. This very video would made an ideal start to a TV campaign.

My hype gets kicked up a notch ever time i watch a trailer PS3 owners are in for a treat.As a PS3 fanboy i am treated with the treatment i expected to be treated with while purchasing the PS3.

This clip may very well be what sells this game through the roof. Not many game companies will allow super slow versions of ingame footage as it tends to show off flaws in their game engine. Well done GG!!

that was simply…….beautiful! im too emotionally worn out to even wipe the tears away so im just letting them drip from my jawline onto my keyboard.

the music has never sounded so good, and the game looks great too. a nice bit of advertising and hype, and we have (i think) a halo beater inter the grounder and smash its face inner-er!

…yes, and if this were any other video games console manufacturer they would be making a big deal about it in the press. “Our kit fails, but our exchange service doesn’t” or whatever.

Mind you, not something you would choose to advertise; the fact your hardware is failing.

I know more consoles are being sold now, but I am getting the impression (just from this small cross-section of owners) that the issue is becoming more widespread. Or perhaps we are just reading of more instances because this thread is read more often as it keeps bumping to the top of the list on page 1 of the forum.

Either way… WELL DONE SONY!

Just hope single player is good, not just multi player, not long to find out…

Having experienced customer service from all 3, would have to agree Sony are the best, swapped my Phat psp with dead pixels next day (few days after launch)
& Nintendo the worse, my Wiis Gpu overheated after only 6 weeks resulting in black spots when playing games, & the shop I had bought it at had none instock to replace it…

So sent it to Nintendo, away for two weeks, checked the online status it said “no fault found” emailed them, but it was dispatched the next day. They had done nothing to it except play Mario Superstar Soccer on it for 3 hours (checking the playlog)

Rang the head-office of where I bought it, they arranged to replace it… (wish I did that in the 1st place)
Meanwhile Nintendo actually replied to the email three months later! Saying sent it back in… Marvellous!

Couldn’t agree more I’m on my 3rd ps3, and both times the same problem bluray died.
Was replace within 2 days of me making phone call. not only that I had no long wait on phone before someone answered, and spoke to a person as apposed to a machine.
