The Sun and Simply Knitting have joined forces to bring you a knitting pattern that will make it easy for you to create your own Sackboy. The pattern will give you a 27cm tall Sackboy, but we’re sure you’re smart enough to work out how to make him bigger if you want.

There was a pattern published in Simply Knitting a while ago - prolly December.
My wife is involved in some knitting forums that the mother of one of the LBP devs participates in. Apparently she knitted sackboys for her son to take into work and throw around the office. They studied the way they fell and bounced and stuff to figure out how to make sackboy behave in the game.
That’s what Mrs. Tolstoy told me, anyway.

This article was also reported on page 29 of the “PlayStation Official Magazine - UK” (Issue 27 - January 2008) released a day or so before Christmas (to subscribers).
“SOCOM: [U.S. Navy SEALs] Confrontation” with bundled PS3 Wireless Headset is due out in the UK on 13 February 2009.
Don’t make any plans for that week:

Ugh, sorry but those knitting plans are horrible. I still haven’t found a Sackboy that looks as good as the one the mother of one of the Mm employees made before LBP was released….Why can’t Sony just make them and sell them instead? I want a Sackboy that actually looks like a Sackboy and not some ‘tarded blog of wool.
