Yesterday evening Square Enix released a new trailer for Final Fantasy XII, complete with gameplay footage. Three Speech strongly recommends clicking here to check it out with subtitles.
We’d love to have the embed code for this, because it looks great. If any of you can help, let us know…
UPDATE: Thanks to everyone who got in touch with embed codes and solutions!
Square “poopily” embedded the video for both the ff13 sites into the main.swf files >.<
Youtube on the other hand “all hail”:

VERY NICE, but still a very long way off. Would have been great if PS3 kept exclusivity, then this game would be released sooner rather than later.

Youtube have it up - watchable, trust square to not make it easy with the video being embedded in the .swf instead of a nice feed from a file on server.

Hi-Def

The thing for me about RPGs is that after all the intros and gorgeous graphics, it all boils down to a single energy bar and turn-based action, which can be frustratingly hideous sometimes.
Although I suspect that this will sell very well - all thanks to it now being multi-platform and no longer an exclusive.
This video tells me nothing about the graphics, actually, as it’s YouTube resolution and it looks pretty crap. But I’m sure there are better versions elsewhere.
Over & Out.

Confession time, only FF game I have ever played is the port of Tactics on Gba…

Just watched the Playstation Network version from the store… looks much nicer in full quality.
They cheekily removed the middle bit of the final screen.. the one with the Playstation and XBox360 logos… just says “in production” and a blank space underneath.. heh.

Same intro is on Live too, it says in production for 360 @ the end… Think the intro on Psn is exact same one as Rick says the bottom line has been raised to hide the fact the 360 logo has been removed.
Means that Square couldn’t be arsed with re-editing the ending properly for Ps3, and most likely the gameplay footage is from the 360 version…
That kind of debunks the theory that mutiformat has delayed the title?

Actually scratch my theory, the text on the end of the Psn version has also been resized.
Also the PSN gameplay footage looks clearer…
