Well, I coukd be wrong, but… isn’t this the interview that was hidden on the bonus-dvd of “Silent Hill 2″ for PS2 in 2002?
*check’s his copy of SH2*
Yes, seems that way!
Comment by codshin — Jan 6, 2009 @ 5:49 pm
It’s included in the Castlevania Chronicles game disc, and that means the PSN release as well. Can’t say about SH2.

Would be nice if Chronicles & Symphony of the Night actually arrive on the PAL store…
Actually own SotN already on Xbla, but it has some cut scenes removed as it was released before the maxim download cap was removed…
Would definitely buy it again, just to own the “complete” version and play on a sony pad as originally intended…

screw you threespeech, Castlevania Chronicles HAS NOT BEEN RELEASED ON THE PAL PSN STORE. If you are hinting at something then just bloody well say it.

I’m not sure why we should ‘get excited’…
This interview is included when you download the fantastic Castlevania Chronicles from the (US) PSN store, and is of course many years old now.
Too bad Konami now seem so focussed on endless DS Metroid-Vania games. It would be wonderful to see a brand new proper Castlevania game come out with HD 2D visuals on a console rather than a handheld.

@Ataru
Don’t forget the awful fighting game that’s been released on the wii too…
As for a new HD 2D one, there’s one in the pipeline. Will try to find a link in a bit…

So Castlevania is coming to PSN tomorrow. At least reading between your lines thats the impression i am getting. Can you not just say?
Will the missing patches for Blast factor, echochrome etc and missing games like street fighter HD be joining it? hope so , lol

The Ambassador *will* be impressed, JS

I bought this game at my local gamestop about a year ago. The disc itself has the artwork with the new Dracula and Simon on the front.
Is this a imported disc that just somehow magicaly runs on my PS3 and PS2?
Why are they “claiming” this game “never” came out in the USA? It makes them look real bad not knowing it came out in the US…
Im not bashing but get your stories straight.

@benjamin
Assume they are talking about the original Sharp x68000 game (thanks wiki), THAT was not released outside Japan, chronicles is a remake of that…
(Not actually watched the interview, as GT clips always crash my browser)

Regards to the new 2D HD Castlevania, the only thing that I can find is an interview where they said they “might”…
Sorry thought they said they “will”
