To be fair, I haven’t been to your site that much, or as much as I would like to.

Reading the content of the number of PS3 (and general gaming) sites/blogs available is becoming a full-time job. (I wish!)

Well done for maintaining your principles, though.

It must be so easy to succumb to saying what is expected to ensure you remain on promotional item distribution lists from the various press offices.

A fair point. I hope you’re not including PS3 Attitude in that list of PS3-biased sites!

We tell it as it is. We’ve given PS3 games a hard time (where warranted) just as much as a non-PS3-centric site.

Yup, I agree… if everybody agreed then this blog would be such a one-sided affair (like some other PS3-biased blogs/sites).

I haven’t had first-hand experience of the title, but I hoped to play a demo version in advance of committing to a Blu-ray purchase.

I have bought so many titles in the last month, I can probably do without another… I only have a week off at Christmas for goodness sake!!!

you can unlock the Altair skin on Ps3 by going on ubisoftDOTcom and linking your ps3 to a ubisoft account, so I have heard.

Scale a few buildings on the way & stab a knife into anybody you take a disliking to & you not only have a fairly regularly drunken Friday night out, but you also have 97% of “Assassin’s Creed” game-play. 98% if you went by horse. Another percentage point if you fell into some hay from four miles above it & ignoring the laws of physics (with respect to attraction to objects with a larger mass as you fall).

I won’t spoil the rest of the game. The second title in the series should provide you with the questions to the answers you haven’t found out yet.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but the vast majority of people (and reviewers) are enjoying it. I’ve spoken to DolphGB about it (at length) and, though I’m sure he’ll pop up (no pun intended) and speak for himself, all I can offer is to say that it’s a very very good game.

It already has a metacritic score of 87% so - it sounds like it’s being well received.
