Of course, what with 2008 being almost over, it means that 2009 is almost upon us. So far it’s shaping up to be a vintage year for the PS3, with some really exceptional looking titles on the cards. 2008 is nearly over. It’s been a big year for the PlayStation, with lots of exciting games coming out, lots of developments to the firmware and lots of new features on the PSN. The guys at Videogamer have put together an insightful review of Savage Moon, the new tower defence game on the PSN.

What’s the game about? Over to Videogamer… “You’re defending your moon base from alien insects, called Insectocytes. Thousands and thousands of the creepy, disturbing, disgusting, Insectocytes, who are all hell bent on worming their way towards your moon base and bringing it down in a soul-destroying boom. Think Starship Troopers spliced with PixelJunk Monsters and you’re halfway there.”
