The winners are announced!! Prizes are in the post! Thanks for all your brilliant entries…are you now a proud owner of Resistance 2? Did the right people win? Who was your overall favourite? So many questions…
Here are the results, as judged by Stuart Trevor, a senior artist on MotorStorm: Pacific Rift.
Winners:
Amateur Acrobatics Award: dannymulley - This shot’s all about the timing and combines the airborne skill and balletic agility of an Olympic gymnast with the unbridled grace of a sack of bulldozers. One, two, three and four, and five, six, seven and… Oh dear.
Extra Terrestrial Award: anzagi - Note to self: wicker baskets on the front of motorbikes need to be made mandatory for all racing games, I’ll call an emergency meeting immediately.
Bad Parking Award: Viciamento - Somebody phone the chiropractor, somebody else call the mechanic. And whilst you’re there, sack the navigator, he’s rubbish. Have we got any embrocation?
Imminent Disaster Award: obom - This won’t have ended well. Completely oblivious to the impending doom, this rider is clearly only interested in showing off to the camera - and rightly so, that’s why we made Photo Mode. Click!
Pacific Rift Aerial Display Team Award: Demadred - Captured a split second before the buggy centre-screen attempted/failed a barrel-roll-into-vertical-break AGAIN, this is extra specially impressive for capturing 12 airborne vehicles in a single shot.

Wow some awesome shots there! Well done to all the winners!!

Btw some great Resistance advertising over in Ireland - http://kotaku.com/5099798/resistance-2-advertising-takes-over-dublin-newspapers
Get that on the cover the London Metro this week guys!
@reakt - I think my C is way to rusty to attempt embedded, as interesting as it sounds. I’m looking for either C# or Delphi if possible.
Comment by Savage — Nov 28, 2008 @ 11:17 pm
Btw, Savage=CartBlanche. Savage is a nick-name, while CartBlanche is my PSN ID and unfortunately depending on which machine I use, the browsers log me in as Savage and others as CartBlanche.

Great pics. Picked this game up a few days ago and absolutely loving it. Seems to have flown under the radar a bit compared to MS so I hope Sony give it a big push into Christmas. If you haven’t got it, get it!

@JohnSketch - mobile phones. (wish it was PS3!). Back on topic - Resistance 2 is on my Christmas list so will be playing it a lot in January I guess.
