WEDNESDAY UPDATE - The competition is closed! The final entries are in! Who do you think should win?
It’s competition time everyone!
Hopefully you’ve all been busy mastering some huge jumps, death-defying rolls and fancy slides in the world of MotorStorm Pacific Rift.
We want to see your most exciting, most extreme, off-road moments. Send in your screenshots to the Three Speech email. The 5 best snaps will win promo copies of the mighty Resistance 2! The winners will be announced on Wednesday the 26th, so final entries must be submitted by 6pm GMT on Tuesday the 25th. Everyday we will publish the new entries on Three Speech, so you can see how your entry is stacking up against the others.
We’ll need you to email in your picture (in jpeg format please), your PSN ID (so we can make you famous), your favourite level and your postal address. Remember - if you don’t send your address in with the picture we can’t send you your prize, and no-one wants that to happen! Please put your PSN ID in the subject line of the email, along with the words ‘Three Speech’s fabulous Resistance 2 bonanza’. One entry only please folks, so make sure it’s your best. The competition is open to Europe as well as the UK…

yeah, this is on my christmas list aswell. i spent my own hard earned cash on LBP & saints row 2. then i swapped SR2 for far cry2 cos its guff!!!!!

Finally made a choice and sent mine in, hopefully I picked the right image. Both featured the same scene only from a different angle, was tough deciding which one was the best, still unsure I picked the better one.

Some good shots there.
For me, based on the requirement of extreme action, my vote is for Demadred at the minute, but I also like Darkos87_11’s attempt too which is a nice composition of two different vehicle types/driving styles.
For artistic merit the award goes to Nursey28!

Anzagi there with a great last minute contender!!! It’s a tough decision. Will there be a poll with the names of people or do we need to reply in these comments?
For me it’s between Anzagi (great composition, action and best sunset shot) and Demadred (impressive for the shear number of vehicles mid-jump), Darkos87_11 comes in a close 3rd for me…

I think anzagi will definitely win, and Twelve Gauge is just amazing as well, it’s poetic, and extremely brutal at the same time.
There are many other good shots, good work guys! I think there should have been more pictures, like the wipeout contest was amazing as well.

Thanks for the compliment, darkos87.
One thing to bear in mind is that mine was made primarily as a background for the XMB, so the centre is left relatively blank (where the text and icons would be on the ps3’s menu). Though the sunset does look quite nice..
Also the silhouette of the wreck contrasts against this bright background, and washed out islands in the distance. This is so you can run the background darkened on the XMB, but still easily see the subject of the pic (the buggy).
I’m gonna have to mention that obom’s is really cool though because of the scope and the way the rider is staring at the camera.
Anyway, some great shots there. I agree though - I wish there were more. I gues not that many people own the game yet.
A shame, it’s awasome!
