it’s a good level, but the text at the bottom (O press to remove jetpack) kind of gives away how the ship was done. it used to be shake the joypad to remove it so pressing O is a better angle, the level design itself is not much more than pistons and emitters. simple and old school.
great idea though. my Dakar Buggy Race is my most popular level so far from plays.
there’s some crazy good levels being built, i just hope the severs don’t bomb again when you all get online on friday.
happy gadding!!

yeah yeah tone you have LBP already, we get it
Only two days to go! And its my birthday on the 5th
Comment by lxd — Nov 3, 2008 @ 7:43 pm
Dont worry lxd
I have already dispatched a legion of kilted Ninjas to take care of our “tone” issue….

Email from Play this morning says its in the post it might arrive tomorrow if I am lucky….
Hope so as my 360 died today not RRoD, just blank screen… so Mr. M can’t play Gears 2 or Far-Cry 2 & Fallout 3 for a few weeks…
On the plus side now I can give LBP my full attention now…
Comment by Mr. Monkey — Nov 3, 2008 @ 8:39 pm
Obviously your 360 does not like monkey boys.
I understand that the 360 has great games, but I still don’t understand why people stick with such a shoddily made piece of kit. The 3 year warrany is a hack to the problem not, a fix and we are 3+ years in! *rant over*
That is one of the best levels I have seen to date, back pack or no back pack, it is still very cool to see a side scrolling shooter.
Is anyone working on a Moon Patrol clone? If not I’ve got dibs on it, when my game arrives.
Comment by Savage — Nov 3, 2008 @ 10:53 pm
@savage
And how about all us Ps3 fans who have been treated so badly by SCEE?
I don’t understand why so many of us still still with Sony after such shoddy treatment, the stores gotten better, but still nowhere near the level of Scea’s service yet…
No special edition of Resistance 2 for Europe, also its out in Usa this week, over here end of the month…
Little Big Planet made in the UK, but where are the Life in Lbp videos that are on the Scea store?
Rant over
(At least Ms respects PAL gamers, more than you know)

Wow, even in a story like this, there a moaning posts!
I think this level is great. Simplicity is the key as it makes the level reliable. This is great too becauae the attention to detail is so fine, good work
Comment by TheShirts — Nov 4, 2008 @ 8:02 am
i went and built a flying angry beaver firing kittinz from it’s mouth using how i think he made the ship in this level, it worked.
all you guys are gonna love this game. really getting into the create side of things.
and no, i won’t shut up about it, i’ve been waiting 18mths for this title

Wicked, nice - the creator has also made a remake of Tetris, ingenius!

Yey! Arrived this morning, just installed… Can try some of these great levels now…
No 1080p tho? Thats little bit pants. Also Playcom have not sent me my Nariko code…
Got the soothing tones of Stephen Fry to stop me being too miffed, they said they going to email me in the next few hours…
Wait a few weeks and I’ll start sharing some of my masterpieces, got a few good ideas tucked up my sleeve…
Comment by Mr. Monkey — Nov 4, 2008 @ 1:39 pm
I hope I got it as well, can’t wait to go home and try it out.
Are the graphics good on a 720p tv? It’s the first ps3 game I’ll be trying on my HDTV (bought it today, still at work)
Play.com marked it as dispatched yesterday… hopefully… fingers crossed!
Comment by Threespeechlover — Nov 4, 2008 @ 1:46 pm
Just got mine.. no Nariko code here either. play.com seem to have stuffed up that part of the deal… no biggie I guess.
Comment by Tony — Nov 4, 2008 @ 5:09 pm
@ Threespeechlover - it is pure eye candy on a 720p HDTV
