There are songs over in the UK that we still have not gotten since Vol 1 that were big songs here in the states. Meanwhile they send these HOT INDIE EURO TRASH songs that no one over here have even heard of before. YOU CAN KEEP THAT CRAP!!! They do it so they can inflate their U.S. Singstore song #’s and trick unsuspecting consumers into thinking they are actually going to be able to sing 300 songs they ACTUALLY HAVE HEARD BEFORE! You would think that at 1/2 of those would be somewhat worth buying but noooooo.

Oh but then tracks that they already have on ps2 Singstar they want us to go out and buy those as well instead of making them available via DLC. They make it seem like they are doing us a favor by giving us the update to do that nevermind the all video capture, audio capture, and online support that debuted on the PS3 WON”T WORK!!! That’s right folks if you like to upload videos won’t work with the PS2 disks sorry! WHAT A RIP!

You want this to be big in the U.S.? Give us some U.S. hits otherwise stop wasting our time with b.s. blog posts talking about “Oh we are going to have 60 songs in a FEW months!” A few months?! I’m supposed to be excited? Not when I know 2/3 of them are going to be EURO HITS! Great can’t wait for that! NOT! Keep your blog posts and show U.S. gamers results!

Like LIPS does (uh oh I getting real close to being modded now). Look at their Christmas update. They got some smart cat over there at MS. Singstar is the better game with way better features than LIPS but guess what? LIPS is going to get all my money this month! Their updates although small (for right now anyway save for that awesome coming Dec 12th) at least they are consistent and every song they listed I had heard of at least thought about buying. Think about this :

See the difference? As Sony is slow learning this console era is that FEATURES ARE NOT EVERYTHING! People want to have fun pure and simple. LIPS will dominate the U.S. market once MS gets their footing on their game because they are giving us the songs we want to sing.

And I for one can’t wait!! I’m very very fustrated with Singstar at this point. But I’m not going to be silent about it. That would be doing both myself and Sony a disservice. I spent my money so I want my money’s worth.

Hopefully this tread won’t get modded but if it does there are many more messageboards I can post it on as well. I realize coming out this bad against Singstar on this board is opening me up to flaming from fanboys and action from the mods themselves however I’m hoping in the spirit of trying to make this game better at least the mods need to stay out of this.

Well I’m done. One more thing Sony need to know how we U.S. gamers feel people so I plead ” UP THIS THREAD”. Let them hear your voice!!! We count too not just the UK!! If you spent your hard earned money on this and feel cheated raise your voice!!! A closed mouth does not get fed! The squeaky wheel gets the oil! YES WE CAN! I couldn’t agree more. There is a mountain of material available. More songs are a must. My only change would be to use the James Taylor/Natalie Cole version of “Baby it’s Cold Outside”

I would like to find out whether the SingStore has plans of putting up the Elton John/Kikki D duet “Dont go breaking my heart” in the near future.

I see it was a track on Volume 2 of SingStar for the PS3 (though this was not the case in Australia which is where I am!).

Are there plans of being able to purchase and download this song from the PS3 Singstore in Australia anytime soon??

Soldner-X & SSF2HD are both released in Nth America next week but not the UK. The Penny Arcade Adventures PSN RPG has no set UK release date, nor does Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars.

We had to wait a month after Nth America for Resistance 2, now it seems SOCOM has been pushed back to 16th January, THREE MONTHS after the US release date.

Forgive me but isn’t something very, very wrong here.
