At least we have something to focus on.

The song they took out LPB may get to number one next at this rate with load of people downloading of it.
Thanks Sony

Wednesday? Really? Though games only came out on a Friday in the UK.
Comment by Yoshimi — Oct 20, 2008 @ 5:25 pm
They’re obviously releasing as soon as stock comes through, rather than waiting for the usual Friday release date to come around. I for one think this is great news - and it’s a whole week and a half earlier than we originally thought!

my local computer games shop keeper still thinks that he is getting it 31st oct i PRAY that he is right! (im not religious but it cant harm me,, can it?)
Comment by manley — Oct 20, 2008 @ 5:38 pm
@ Mostyn - i really hope the song does get to number one, it will show just how damn stupid this whole business has been.
i popped into my local blockbusters today after work and they said it would be OK for a 24th pick up still.

At this stage in the titles production, all of the copies must have been ready for distribution - does this mean that all the existing copies got recalled. This is political madness gone mad.
Comment by Terry G — Oct 20, 2008 @ 7:05 pm
I dont wanna the game anymore
Comment by tidus — Oct 20, 2008 @ 7:15 pm
Ah well, i suppose this gives me more time to play fallout 3
Comment by Stuart — Oct 20, 2008 @ 7:35 pm
When do the online servers go up? I may have access to a copy of the game, and I’d like to be able to get online with it sooner than the best part of 3 weeks time…
Comment by Android18a — Oct 20, 2008 @ 7:50 pm
Can someone post the name of the track so I can buy it from iTunes? Does LBP allow custom soundtracks? Know whatI’m thinking? Play the first level of LBP accompanied by the music that the developers picked in the first place, they way it was supposed to be

I hadn’t got the heart this afternoon to tell the GAME staff ‘dressing’ their store window with “LittleBigPlanet”-themed promotional cubes & posters that the (Dead) space could be better used advertising “Fallout 3″, “Quantum of Solace”, and/or “SOCOM: (U.S. Navy Seals) Confrontation”.

there’s just soo many good games coming out in the next couple of months i don’t know where we’re gonna get the time to play them all.
anyone else getting Midnight Club?
i’ll be the idiot driving around online in the matt black muscle car screaming ‘I am the Nightrider. I’m a fuel injected suicide machine.!’ expect MFP custom decals very soon after i load the game

That’s it I’ve had it. The only thing more predictable than Sony’s hype generation for it’s mediocre titles as a proven method to hustle more units to it’s whipped up minions, it’s the idiocy of this website. This is the last time i come here, it just makes me bloody furious. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.

OT but any chance of an official statement why / how SCEE ballsed up the already DELAYED for Europe resistance 2 public beta??????
Comment by Si — Oct 21, 2008 @ 10:21 am
Oh I’m so glad that SCEE confirmed the UK launch date. Because you know, it’s the ONLY region that they control.

Let amazon send me my pre-ordered copy…
My PS3 is online and will download the update so no need to worry about that “song”
go on do it…
Also whats with you guys sending out promo copies to the wipeout compo winners when the game has been recalled? No need to follow the rules huh?
Not very good for a “semi official blog”

Good news! A confirmed in the shops date was what we needed. Not too bad of a delay with all the other games coming out on the 24th.
Comment by kd — Oct 21, 2008 @ 1:54 pm
So ‘in store’ will this be released on October 24th still? And by that I mean will it be available? If so which stores?
Thanks
