I currently have two playlists in the game. The one on the Blog and one called “OldSkool WipEout” which contains all the stuff by CoLD SToRAGE (also thanks to Mr Monkey). I frequently swap between the two. I spent ages last night going thru my music collection to see what else would work well in the game.

I hope other games start to use this feature…theres nothing better than listening to your own tunes in a game. I wonder if it would work in an FPS like UT3 or RFOM??

Nice track list, a bit too heavy for me I just like to listen to my sounds of the oceans CD to get me into a state of Zen. lol just kidding! To be honest prodigy’s jilted generation album works a treat for me.
Although thanks to Mr Monkey the original wipeout sound track also gets played regulary.

Given the length of time that this title was in development such a occurrence is shameful!

As I mentioned above (albeit with a ‘typo’), I am guessing that the “WipEout HD” team wrapped-up development before firmware 2.40 arrived (and increased the “Friends” list to double the previous capacity to now a maximum of 100 entries).

It is one of the reasons I am holding back with buying this title… not out of punishment, or to make a point, but just to ensure that everybody else tests any problems for me before I download it
