great!! so can sony #¤%& us again, and pull it off the shelves seconds before it is supposed to go online.
Comment by MoreCakeNOW! — Sep 11, 2008 @ 6:13 pm
funny, because in OPM Sony said it was basically borked and wouldn’t be coming out anytime soon..
“unresolvable technical issues”
is what the offical line was from what i can remember.
i wonder who got the brown envelope full of folding stuff then..
still not getting it, never have liked this game series.

ps: why has the Store not been updated yet?
Comment by mobiletone — Sep 11, 2008 @ 6:19 pm
@8 because Sony has no content this week and they are quickly downlaoding a few game trailers from gametrailers.com to post on the store.

Comment by sanane — Sep 11, 2008 @ 6:27 pm
we are “supposed” to get 1942 Joint Strike today…
And a long overdue demo of elefunk…
So overdue that theres not much point in it being released… NOW
Comment by Mr. Monkey — Sep 11, 2008 @ 6:27 pm
Cool, sounds like a really fair price too! I was expecting it to be around the £15-16 mark like Tekken 5 was… if the US version turns out to be $19.99 that’s spot on pricing given the extra VAT we pay. It’s about time SCEE did something right!!!
Now if only we could have it before the end of September…
Comment by Apnomis — Sep 11, 2008 @ 6:35 pm
Holy shit, that new Wipeout artwork is awesome. Shame about the Threespeech logo slapped right in the middle though
Comment by BadgerBadger — Sep 11, 2008 @ 6:37 pm
They are having “technical difficulties” for the PSN update apparently. Look on offical forum for more info
Comment by Steve — Sep 11, 2008 @ 6:47 pm
Release it next week at the latest. Late September will put a lot of people off given what’s coming in October. In fact it should have been out already.
Comment by Matt — Sep 11, 2008 @ 6:48 pm
WHY did you have to plaster your threespeech.com watermark all over that beautiful graphic?!
Would have made a great desktop image otherwise.
I’m going to see about clone-stamping your advertisement out of there.
Comment by Nerfgun — Sep 11, 2008 @ 7:08 pm
never really liked the wipeout series apart from the first one, but for £11.99 think i might give it a bash cos i was half expecting it 2 b priced at about £25. plus it has trophies & im always up 4 sum trophy hunting!!!!!!

damn, no Store update post.. i had to go and do something constructive, fitted lowering springs to mah choppers front end, instead of moaning on here..
just doesn’t feel like thursday.
maybe a stray quark from the LHC spun off and hit Sony’s servers
and sucked all the content into a mini black hole
Comment by mobiletone — Sep 11, 2008 @ 8:55 pm
oh wait,
i understand SCEE waits until the US releases their store and then puts “available for EU”on yes
for PAIN themepark update
FIFA09 Demo
PES09 Demo
if this only was true, that as of tomorrow every week we’ll be giving the good stuff,
i then don’t mind waiting a day longer!!!

you could download it and then run folding@home, it has a option to turn the PS3 off after a set time, thats what I normally do, background downloads, set for 1-2 hour timer, next day turn on PS3 most of my downloads already done…

before I change my name, get plastic surgery and leave the country, I should say that the price for Wipeout HD is a winner.
I’ve always loved the series, its one of the few games I regularly play on my PSP and I’m buzzing for its release.
now to book those plane tickets…

…to get sex, or to get “WipEout HD”?
Either way, if that looks like sex, I’ve been doing it wrong.
Sounds like the ‘most wanted game’ (of 2007) is going to reach the PlayStation Network in less than a month.
What will people find to moan about then?

wtf, isnt this an europian blog? If I cant get the price in sek, at least I want it in euro, have no friggin idea what a pound is worth :S
Anyway, seems like a really sweet game! Never actually played wipeout but if the demo is better than fatal inertia (and I really think it will be:P) I’ll buy it! Expect to be blown away by the graphics=)
