I have it on good authority from somebody (not too far away from where I am presently sat) that the “Resistance 2″ Private Beta Trial was very well received & the testing went so well that the program[me] concluded two weeks ahead of schedule.
Still no news on a Collector’s Edition for the UK/European markets though
Too much stuff to buy in the next few months.
Jeez! It’s either nothing or all at once.

Fanpages. SCEE anounced that they we not going to do a special edition as translating the art book and trailers on the disk were to expensive.
Hey threespeech how about you annnouce the Resistance 2 beta details for europe…. oh wait SCEE turned down the optunity to have a beta in europe oh SNAP!

oh, and on the Amazon extracting the golden stuff saga re:LBP, i wrote to them once more, they gave me more flannel about suppliers, release dates etc. so i canned my order with them.
i went to BlockBuster after work, gave them a (non-counterfeit) pound coin for a pre-order, was promised i could pick it up on the 24th (that particular shop always comes through for me) and they gave me £10 of game vouchers too.

@ Mr. Monkey - that DC + 10 games was 25 notes well spent, who needs DLC from the Store at them sort of prices. i doubt SegaNet is still up though

I’ve a friend who’s a manager at GAME, and he managed to put the limited editions question to a Sony rep.
It’s all about money. They think that the costs of reproducing LE versions is unwarranted in the UK as they never sell enough to cover costs.
Which is crap. Most people I know would buy LE over standard if the content was right.

a)it is really crap that SCEE didnt give us a R:FoM2 beta!
B) and more importantly - WIPEOUT HD online now! a few hours beofre the US store update, thats right guys, SCEE get it first!!!! Bought and 30% downloaded so far!

Its 998Mb for Wipeout (24% downloaded) also Megaman 9 is up, Burnout Paradise PS3 + Dominator for PSP, some themes Mercs 2 demo, Rock Band stuff and a Metal Gear 4 trailer?

played the first one and RFoM 2 is one off my Xmas favo’s. a good year ending for the PS3 with a lot of great great games, and i mean first and second and third party games. I gonna get this year the “only on PS3″ games, games enough, and next year my number one games will be Killzone 2 and Heavy Rain. And hoping for news on the team ico game this TGS….

What do people think of wipeout HD then, once I had turned that annoying pilot assist off I got into it fine. Is a real shame though that these are all old tracks and they couldnt make at least a few new ones. Still for 11 quid its a bargain. Heres looking forward to the first “proper” Wipeout outing on PS3…

well killzone2 beta is amazing but hy so is all the other betas that i am and have been on sony you have got me back to my ps3 after many month for 360 ps3 has won my hart and al i can say is bring out home and make more games like little big planet and killzone residence 2 and my 360 will have years of dust to get in to rrod and i hope it dose so as i have had more fun in the last month than i have had since playing my dreamcast and that says something and if you were a lover of dreamcast you no what i mean

I believe that the present colour-scheme in (the Beta Trial of) “Killzone 2″ means somebody with red/green colour-blindness like me (who cannot confirm or deny anything regarding game-play of said Beta, so don’t you dare look at my Profile if you are in my Friends list) has trouble distinguishing between team members & enemies.
The reason for the putting back the release date of “Killzone 2″ (to next February) was because of the release of “Resistance 2″ this November.
With “Gears of War 2″ available at the same time as “Resistance 2″ what will get your money in just over a month?
