Right, you’ve had a few days to acclimatise yourselves with the new WipEout HD, so using that lovely in-game screenshot feature we want you to take images and send us your favourite one to the Three Speech email. We will then pick the best, post them on-site and get you all to decide the winner. The chosen one will then receive a little something from the store cupboards.
When writing in tell us your username, top placing online to date and finally, where you are from.
PlayStation have teamed up with the rather wonderful Current, giving you the chance to unleash the creative inside and win a cool £1,000.
Using its VCAM feature (it stands for Viewer Created Advertising Message y’all), Current are giving you the chance to make Resistance 2 adverts for television. If you don’t know about Current, it’s quite special. Programming is made up of short viewer-created pieces across a wide range of topics, pretty much discussing anything and everything. Viewers also get involved in creating promos and ads. It’s a great way to get work out to the masses for their opinions.
For full details of the brief and how you could win a grand go to Current and get in touch if you do take part as we would love to see your work.
Getting high high ratings over at GameTrailers is this new Street Fighter IV anime trailer which gives more depth and information on the characters involved. They seem to be going way deep on this one. Can’t wait…
Crispy Gamer have reported some good news for all you PSP owners out there; PSP owners should see an upswing in third-party titles for the PSP in 2009.
Regarding said third party titles, SCEA director of hardware marketing John Koller was quoted as saying, “The recipe for success on the PSP resides simply in providing franchise games that are strong brand names like on consoles, but have unique gameplay on the system. You cannot have ports. We used God of War: Chains of Olympus this year as an example of that, as well as Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, and Midnight Club, which is going to be launching in the next few weeks. Those three games are titles that have very strong brand names on console but are coming over with unique gameplay on the PSP.”
One of developers of Resistance 2 shows us some of what to expect from the long-awaited sequel to the best-selling PlayStation 3 launch title. Looks pretty special…
