		<description>FYI:
---
Update: The Blu-Ray will still be released in other European countries, but not the United Kingdom

Update 2: Insomniac Games’ Community Manager James Stevenson has provided a reason at games forum NeoGAF. “It’s partially due to broadband penetration being strong in the UK, therefore it wasn’t seen as needed”. He also mentions that Ireland will receive Blu-Ray copies at retail, if you’re really craving for a hard copy.

		<description>FYI:
Blu-ray version of "Ratchet &#38; Clank (Future): Quest for Booty" has been cancelled...

Quest for Booty Blu-Ray Cancelled
By Mark Brown &#124; September 11, 2008

A Sony of Europe representative confirmed to BritishGaming.co.uk that Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty will no longer be heading to retail stores on a Blu-Ray disc.

The 3-4 hour epilogue was released on the Playstation Store on August 21st, but was initially announced for a full retail release on September 12th.

After noticing that no stores had the game for pre-order, we contacted Sony and received this email.

R&#38;C: QFB won’t be released in the UK on Blu-Ray I’m afraid.

Quest for Booty is still available on Playstation Network for £9.99

		<description>@30 [BaseballFury]

"Braid... hair pulling..."

Well,... hair weaving, but we get the idea :)

Sorry to disappoint anybody interested, but "Braid" only has a listing for the Xbox 360 on the PEGI web site presently, so it's not going to be an imminent release for the PS3/PSN/PSP.

<description>I think the only puzzle game that has came close to Braid for hair pulling frustation has been Kuruchi on the original PS. But as far as story, emotional response, complete gorgeousness, nothing (as far as Arcade/PSN games go) can compare to Braid. It even beats most full retail games at those things to. And that last level! What a masterpiece. Get this game on PSN NOW!</description>

<description>"Jenova Chen recognized as top young innovator by Technology Review" (Author: Andrew Yoon)
[ ps3fanboy.com/2008/08/27/jenova-chen-recognized-as-top-young-innovator-by-technology-revi/ ]
---
One of the founders of thatgamecompany, the team behind flOw and the upcoming Flower, has been recognized by Technology Review's TR35 awards. Jenova Chen is being called a "top young innovator" for his work on game design, focusing on how "gaming can be an emotional journey for many different audiences and not just an aggressive experience for young males."

"Jenova Chen exemplifies what it means to be an innovator. He pushes the boundaries of his industry, questioning assumptions about what gaming can be. Because of his breakthrough vision, the impact from his approach to gaming will be felt for generations to come," said Krisztina "Z" Holly, USC Vice Provost for Innovation and Executive Director of the USC Stevens Institute for Innovation.

The upcoming flOwer took multiple accolades at E3, including our own award for Best PSN Game. Gamespot also awarded it Best Downloadable Game and Best Graphics.

		<description>@26 [Obli]:

Thanks.

Allegedly, the Unreal Engine 3-powered "SiN City" *is* coming to the PS3 [now that the publisher (Red Mile) has taken the project off the previous developer (Transmission Games)] :)

Did you not like "Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution"? And "...Pirates!" was on the 'Store this week wasn't it?

This aside, I wanted to buy "Bionic Commando: Rearmed" for my kids, but they struggle with the "Hack the enemy network" section. Plus the "Challenge Mode" levels were, erm, challenging.

I just went to look up the IGN scoring... "Outstanding" &#38; "9.4".

GameRankings have it at an average of 87.2% for the PS3. GameSpot (and GameDaily) 'only' gave it 80%, with Games(tm) saying 70%.

GBP 6.99 too, isn't it?

Maybe I'll wait for a sale...
