Thanks to Dylan Jobe, game director of Warhawk over at Ingognito Entertainment, details of the upcoming Warhawk update (1.5) have been posted on the US PlayStation blog. While the main focus for the update, as highlighted previously, is the addition of trophies, there are also some other goodies thrown in - here’s the rundown:
Trophies - 56 in total (some for booster packs, some hidden and some retroactive based on server side stats)
Custom Music (via the in-game XMB)
Tutorials - four new tutorials to help beginners into the game
Clan leaders can now retract invites to the clan
New Paint Schemes & Insignias - created by European competition entrants
Participants of the GGL tournament will receive a in-game GGL-Ceremonial Knife, winners will receive the Champions Blade
“Rookie” Server colour coding - servers for new players only will be highlighted in green
Various bug / exploit fixes
Quite a list, and not bad for free! Jobe leaves us with a hint for a future update… “With one of these equipped, a soldier can escape quickly…even bail out if needed!”. What could he be talking about?

N+, a new PSP game from Atari, sees you guide a Ninja round a series of levels, collecting coins against the clock. Fans of games like Patapon and PaRappa will be pleased to hear that N+ hinges on timing and reflexes. Graphically it’s simple, but the gameplay escalates in complexity very quickly. Now, the really interesting thing about N+ is its UGC element. In addition to the 100 levels (50 co-op) that you get with the game itself, you will be able to design and share your own levels online. For more info on N+ click here.

Some more screens EA Redwood Shore Studios’ looming gruesome sci-fi action game, which provides further proof that deep space mining really is a job to avoid. A routine mining expedition goes wrong, you’re sent to fix it and a horrible discovery is made. It’s a plot formula you know you can trust. Videos of this one have been around for a while, and it looks very promising indeed. Click here for the screens.
