Amazon had the Blu-ray version at £14.98 recently, & Play.com had it for £17.99.

The prices are now £21.62 & £29.99, respectively.

!?!

Time to source an Asian import of “Siren: New Translation” from eBay, methinks.

@Terry the whole model of digital distribution is set up as means to combat piracy (mainly for PC) & is a sneaky way to help curb the grey market that bricks & mortars have with pre-owned games.
(Didn’t start out like that but thats how Publishers now use it)

Virtual trade in’s would be a excellent idea, but I feel the outcry by bricks & mortars over the further cutting of their P&L margins would prevent it for ever happening

The only thing that worries me is backwards compatibility with the next generation of machines…
Will all the PSN, XBL and Wiiware downloads work?

What would be good is if Sony gave money back to consumers if they decide to surrender their usage of a particular downloaded game. Say in the case of SIREN, all the episodes are stored in your download list, what if you were to get £5 off a new purchase if these items were removed from the list. It might go some way to making downloads more viable as I know you obviously cannot sell them on like you could a physical copy. Plus Sony then get people coming back to buy new things. I’d happily lose GT5 Prologue - its boring.

I prefer downloads over media, so I downloaded all 12 episodes which is just lovely. I recently upgraded my 60GB to a 320GB so there’s plenty of space. But if you’re low on disk space, you can delete any episodes of Siren that you’ve finished, and redownload them as you please, which I think is a great feature.

It is supposed to be that dark, keep looking at the map! Some of the outdoor sections are better lit…

that will really creep you out.
Think silent hill meets the ring
(you battle ghosts by taking photos its really great)

Im not finding siren scary as such, but the stealth sections are nerve jangling…

After finishing the hospital bit my heart was racing so bad I had to play eden to chill me out…
