Here’s a few more screens from Gran Turismo TV. GT TV will broadcast full high-def content on demand, footage from racing events around the world, automobile news, and much more.

OK… I’m trying to remain positive…
The TVersity/YouTube interface looks good.
“View Your Cart”… These motorised vehicles may be a little faster than the ones provided in “Prologue”.
Seriously, why isn’t this feature being released as an add-on pack, so those who wish to play “Gran Turismo 5″ this year, don’t have to wait until 2010 (at least)?

OK, here’s some more positive news…

@3 [Nofi]:
Yes, I did know GT-TV is part of “Gran Turismo 5 Prologue”, but the inclusion of video footage within GT-TV of each of the vehicles featured in the full game is one (if not the only) reason why it is delayed until at least the year 2010.

*annoyed with the the whingers*
This is good news, I’ll enjoy watching the videos of the cars I love whether or not I have to wait to download it…
Also I’d be highly suspicious of any suggestion that the full game is being delayed simply to produce video features on all the cars included in it… To delay a game for up to 2 years for this, whether wholly or partly, makes no commercial sense for the developer. The amount of hype it would generate would be very small given only the hardcore fans, who have prologue and use the GT TV service, would even be seeing the videos. I’m hoping that the delay is related to a large overhaul of the game physics or some other aspect which will make the full game a better sim than prologue. Prologue is certainly good but a delay that long makes me want to get something substantial out of it.
Also FP, cheers for all the extra info you bring but you seem to post it in the comments sections of articles which don’t really have any relation to the info. Maybe be a bit more selective before pumping the comments sections full of it.

Sorry to add to the whingers but…
I really don’t see the point of GTTV, the thing that annoyed me with it is that while content is downloading you cannot do anything else. Hardly streaming is it. a 2010 release date is stupid, I thought Gran turismo already looks dated, yeh the cars are beautiful but the tracks are BLAND. By 2010 there will be much better things ripping up the track… like wipeout probably.

Thank you for the recognition.
If this was a bit more of a forum-based site rather than just allowing comments on blog entries then yes, I would be more selective, but in order to get the information to you I sometimes just pick the most recent blog entry as most people will read that.
I’m also *supposed* to be doing something completely different during office hours, so I often just drop the snippets I pick-up for you all to benefit from when I have the opportunity.
[I also post on the 1upGamers.com Blog & within the forums there from time to time :)]
All:
Would you prefer it if I created blog content for ThreeSpeech.com instead of providing blog entry comments? You would then receive the information but it would not be mixed it into inappropriate topics?
BFN,
fp.
