@ Threespeechlover
you seem to lack the intellectual capacity to realise that was the point I was making, you know, as a joke…

MySpace? Pfff….
Comment by Terry — Jul 30, 2008 @ 9:37 am
You do realise this will mean visiting myspace.com right?

…Not necessarily…
You could always view the Itinerary

Although we’ve now missed the tickets for the first event.
Sony have a MyFaceTwitterBookSpace presence as well, don’t they? Anybody been to look? No, me neither.

@6 : You might lack the Y chromosome, so that’s why you keep whining and whining and whining and whining. And whining.

@11

firmware 2.42 installed and running, no problems.
Comment by mobiletone — Jul 30, 2008 @ 5:31 pm
@mtone
you managed to dig for what it does?
apart from the stock
“improves the playback quality of some PLAYSTATION 3 and PlayStation format software.”
I had a heart in-mouth moment after installing mine, got stuck on the wave screen, turned it off & on, no probs after that
Going to start backing-up before updates now tho..

Installed a new firmware last night, anyone know what it does exactly?
Comment by Terry — Jul 31, 2008 @ 8:19 am
Whats going on with ThreeSpeech, if you ignore the trumpcard cack theres literally been two bits of PS3 news this week?
Comment by Terry — Jul 31, 2008 @ 11:16 am
Rumour with the firmware update is to include functionality for the release of “Life with PlayStation” today:
[ kotaku.com/5019855/introducing-life-with-playstation ]
Other speculation is that the presentation of the Trophy information is quicker in the XrossMediaBar… but I have not noticed any difference.
(Trophy support for “Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune” imminent, btw)
As for news this week, yes, does seem like I should get my finger out & write some blog entries for Three Speech.
Anybody got any burning issues they wish to discuss (cue: WipEout, Home, wireless SingStar microphones, ‘Store pricing policies, etc. etc)?
Also, it’s Thursday, so we can all look forward to some moaning about the updates (or lack thereof) this week…
“PixelJunk Eden” full game (GBP 4.99 / EUR 7.99)
“PixelJunk Eden” demo (free)
“Echochrome Micro” demo for PSP (free)
“E3 2008 PSP compilation” video
“Prince of Persia” E3 gameplay trailer
“The Last Guy” trailer
“Movement episode 3 part 1: Milan” (5 videos)
“Bionic Commando Rearmed” wallpaper

to be honest I got a busy night tonight… so once I picked up my dream box and then figured out how to configure its ir signal for my location free player I shall be purchasing Pixeljunk Eden and enjoying the game… racking up trophies will just come while I play, never gonna jump on that bandwagon.
also… any news on a pre or post - leipzig event at 3rooms? I went to the very first event where I was lucky enough to share a room with P. Harrison…
with all the great things coming to the PS3 it would be a great way to see out the summer and look forward to the holiday season
THREESPEECH… WHAT D’YA SAY?

I think I might go down to BlueWater on the 13 or 14th to see what the game plays like.
Does anyone know if it will run at 720p or 1080p?
I’ve got a new 1080p telly and am looking for some proper 1080p games for it.
