The first two packs on the list are for Guitar Hero 3 in case anyone is wondering (as I was). Good to see a couple of new demos to try out.
Comment by reakt — Jun 5, 2008 @ 10:40 am
They’ve even added preview videos to some of the game content now too…finally getting on a par with the US Store!

Any news on Echochrome or Wipeout HD yet .. ?
)
(it would have been nice to play Echochrome before MGS4 came out. I’ll probably miss out on a few store updates after that
Comment by Sentry23 — Jun 5, 2008 @ 10:52 am
i still cannot fathom the ps1 game selection process.
are they looking for games that time hits the hardest?
puzzle games, multiplayer party games and simple 2d shooters that are good will hold themselves but FPS games?!?!?! insanity.
Comment by d33p — Jun 5, 2008 @ 11:08 am
Had my fingers crossed that we might see Novastrike or Commando 3. Still busy with other things anyway…
Wipeout HD would have literally cut my work day short and caused a mad dash home.

Comment by zeebob — Jun 5, 2008 @ 11:11 am
WipEot HD has not been announced for released yet…it was rumoured May a few months ago, but you’re honestly looking at end of August at the earliest!

Yes, buy it mail order on UMD from any of… PC World, PowerPlayDirect, 101CD, BlahDVD, TheHut/Asda-Entertainment, DVD.co.uk, LoveFilm, Woolworths, SoftUK, Tesco, Currys, or Dixons, and see change out of the £14.99 you will spend online (even with postage costs where applicable).

To whoever asked about Killzone Liberation, it isa very solid TPS game. I’m not into those genres usually, but something about the Killzone universe and the games machanics made me replay this game over and over.

The Motorhead track pack is showing on my Ps Store as £3.99, I was all excited for a second there
Comment by Craig Girvan — Jun 5, 2008 @ 6:59 pm
Aww man, I really wanted Commando: Wolf Of The Battlefield.
I guess this means that we are not going to be getting Qore either. That is a shame, it seemed like a pretty cool idea.
Comment by Mace — Jun 5, 2008 @ 7:17 pm
Killzone Lib has wicked online play. I used to be ranked 10th in the US leaderboard. I heard it’s going ofline this month though, becuase realy only hackers play the game now. Amazing Sngle player too. I would not be excited for KZ2 if it wasn’t for liberation.

Please…anyone…I cannot figure out why the Dutch PSN store doesn’t receive any PS2 games..Last week Rayman, this week RB6. It’s in every other european store, just not in ours. Does anyone know the reason for this ? Thanks so much.

…echochrome?!

@ 11, 18, 21 & everyone else.
Sorry everybody - we made a mistake when editing the update list. The Motorhead track pack is indeed £3.99. Apologies from Three Speech and Sony…
Comment by Three Speech — Jun 6, 2008 @ 9:20 am
Not a bad update, but nothing amazing. It’s quite good that SCEE have got into a routine of releasing one PS1 game and one PSP game every week. Keep it up.
@Everybody asking for Echochrome.
The PSP game is out on the 19th. Anybody with a brain would realise that it makes sense to release the two versions together. Expect the PSN version on Thursday 18th.

So I tried BadCompany. Understand that I have calmed myself down a little now. Another game where the developers have seemingly decided not to support anybody who has a lefty control preference. I really really do not understand why this is. Literally, it must take the programmer guys moments to implement, and the art guys another moment to knock up the options.
Well, I’m very glad I tried the demo, because I was simply realy to buy this. Thank goodness I’ve found this out now. I will not be making this purchase. Shame, cos it looks fine.
Comment by LordOfRuin — Jun 7, 2008 @ 5:14 pm
learn to be right handed, I don’t complain about left handed games
Serously though, does it make a difference? I have never thought about it that much, as most games I use both analogue sticks anyway.
Comment by John — Jun 8, 2008 @ 7:35 am
@ lordofruin… have you ever considered making a custom controller? all you’d have to do is switch a few contacts over in the pad, electronics 101. if you can’t do it i’m sure there are plenty of mod guys that could knock you one up.
or maybe you just like whining to much.
Comment by mobiletone — Jun 8, 2008 @ 7:38 am
Custom controller anyone?
