Over in Tokyo SCE boss Kaz Hirai has given the world a glimpse of PlayStation’s new programme ‘Life with PlayStation’. According to Hirai, “‘Life with PlayStation’ will bring unique content centering on two axis, place and time.”
The interface will be a globe based on a real-time weather satellite image complete with cloud patterns, and will provide access to news, photographs and other content, also allowing users to link to pages on the web.

SCE boss Kaz Hirai announced that Sony will launch a movie download service for the PS3 in the US this summer. Japan and Europe will get the service at later dates. More news on the service is expected next month - widely presumed to mean that an announcement will be made at E3. Read more at Eurogamer.

Today Logitech announced the launch of Logitech Driving Force GT - the official wheel of Gran Turismo. The wheel connoisseurs amongst you will be excited to hear that the 11 inch Logitech Driving Force GT can turn 900 degrees from lock-to-lock, features a 24-position real-time adjustment dial for on-the-fly control of brake bias, traction and damper settings, and (perhaps most importantly) has a horn.
