The Alone In The Dark series began back in 1992, and was one of the first survival horror games to use 3D graphics to display characters. The latest instalment of the franchise is making its way to PlayStation 3 and looks like its a cross between GTA, Silent Hill and Resident Evil 4.

Capcom’s PlayStation 3 port of Lost Planet: Extreme Condition will hit stores on February 26, according to a recent post on Shacknews; which, going by the UK release pattern (games released on Fridays), probably means it will be available in the UK on February 29.
Capcom have also released some new screenshots - available here.
Reviews are flooding in for Criterion’s Burnout Paradise title, which is due for release this week. It’s currently holding up a metascore of 89 - not bad at all.

Eurogamer have received word that a demo of Capcom’s highly anticipated Devil May Cry 4 will be hitting the PlayStation Network as soon as January 31. Capcom Europe couldn’t confirm this; however the title is due for release on February 8, so it can’t be that far away. Stay tuned for more information as soon as we get it.
In a recent interview with Ted Price of Insomniac Games some interesting information on Resistance 2 was revealed. Ted talks about which features he thinks are most important to a FPS game and he also discusses AI improvements, storyline, online play and bosses - some which are said to be 100ft tall.
There is also an interview with Colin Munson of Insomniac, who talks mainly about Co-op play. The clips are only interviews, so no in-game footage is shown but they are definitely worth a look. Be warned - there seem to be some sync issues with the videos.

Some of you have been in touch to ask what’s happening with the SingStar Store and following is the official reply from SingStar Studios. Looks like things are getting back on track.
‘SingStar fans have been asking when the SingStore will be populated with more songs.
Our original vision, as outlined in early preview coverage of SingStar, was to have more than 350 songs available on the SingStore.
We are working hard to increase the volume of content as quickly as possible. Eighteen new tracks will be live in the SingStore from 18th January (15 English and 3 Spanish tracks) including songs from KT Tunstall, David Bowie and Blur. This will be followed by an update the week of 4th February, including tracks from The Editors and MC Hammer, and we will be updating the SingStore with new content twice monthly thereafter.

We revealed a while back (here) that Capcom are making a new Bionic Commando title for PS3, featuring fully 3D visuals and gameplay. It seems that one Bionic Commando game isn’t enough for Capcom, however, as they are planning to release another game via the PSN.
The game itself is rumoured to be a remake of the old Bionic Commando featuring 3D visuals but retaining the original games features and will apparently contain simultaneous two player gameplay, secret areas, and some sort of connectivity with the other new game.
The PSN remake is rumoured to be released just before the brand new version.
