What would you prefer, a meaningless gift for your celebration or something with a personalized flavour to it?...

Yes, this is a good game but I must say that if it weren't for the online play then £49.99 for the single player offline would be criminal.
The online is good but for the amount of people on it I think the maps are too small.

According to NPD, Call of Duty on the PS3 sold 444,000 units in November alone. So that is 444,000 in the US alone!! If you take into consideration that it should have sold equally well, in most other regions, you should see a pattern forming. So I would say that VGChartz's figures of 2 million world wide is highly likely. Just do the maths neigh sayers :).

@Matt: Err, have you been hiding under a rock? Sony commented on the NPD data right after the came out. Look at articles like this one from Kotaku:
http://kotaku.com/346309/sony-responds-to-december-npd-sales-seems-pleased

Also NPD is only useful for tracking US sales.

Assassins Creed, the way UbiSoft is NOT adressing the Screen Tearing problems on both PS3 and XBOX360 is not cool. And they sold almost 2 mil. of them, they should fix 60 euro games if it is their problem..
