Merry Christmas Three Speech staff and fellow Three Speech readers as well. Sorry I missed the Warhawk tournament - my wife was in labour! I have a young son now so I don’t have as much free time now as I did before. Somehow I found the time to finish uncharted however
Three Speech - over the year you’ve taken a lot of stick from a lot of people venting their frustrations over the lack of updates to the European store and delays to some of the games. Well done for sticking with us though. I think the moaners don’t really have much to complain about anymore since there are a lot of great games out and the store is in pretty good shape as well.
On a separate note, I hope that there will be another 3Rooms event sometime next year as I very much enjoyed the last one.

Now I just have to wait for tomorrow, when I can open that lovely copy of Unreal Tournament 3 that’s sat under the tree calling to me (naturally, I had to test it isn’t region locked… and oh boy, it rocks!)…

So, Christmas day, when you’re bored with your socks, knickers, terry’s chocolate orange, and stuffed to bursting with too much indulgence, I suggest you get yourself on Warhawk for a little play. LordOfRuin will be waiting to wish you a merry death by swarm missile. Yay! Actually, I wouldn’t mind messing about with one of those races we’ve been seeing. How fun they look.
Wishing I had the Unreal the MuggleMind has. I think you’ll find you’ve been naughty, and Santa has made an error. He’ll hopefully be correcting that this eve, and it’ll maybe be residing under my tree tomorrow. Please Santa, I’ve been a little bit good.
@ThreeSpeech, I especially would like to wish you all a very merry time. This site has informed and entertained continuously from the off. It’s brought together a comfortable crowd, and it’s all good.

I wish all UK/Euro gamers Merry Christmas & Happy New Year - that includes Microsoft and Nintendo, not just Sony gamers.
I hope Sony have New Year Resolutions that they will actually stick by for 2008, as they seemed to have broken every single one of their 2007 ones.
I’m having a PlayStation2 Night between Xmas and New Year with my friends, so I will be enjoying some Fantastic Festive Fun!
But most important of all, let us not forget the TRUE meaning of Christmas. Let us also give generously to those who cannot enjoy what all of us take for granted.

It’s not about suppressing religious beliefs either, or disrespecting them…Sony, of all corporations, should know all about that, ie. Resistance.
If an Xmas greeting has the name “Jesus Christ” in it, it’s not hurting anyone is it? Why are those who don’t believe so afraid?
I said the same thing in my greeting but didn’t feel the need to be as direct about it. But that doesn’t mean others cannot. That wouldn’t be fair.

OK, xmas is now over, can we get back to Sony bashing and moaning about stupid stuff in the firmware and how crap the store update was
i note Japan got a store update last week. had fun downloading some psp demos on my ps3 and having them load straight into my psp.
note to self:- stop downloading things from japan just cos they have cats in the icon

According to the dates on the store, we also had an update on the 27th - two items, though I can’t remember now what they were… And I like kitties too, though they are a bugger to reload into a warhawk tank barrel!

Microsoft not replying to customer concerns, seems very familliar. I remember when I got that ring of death thing on a second hand 360, it was outside their initial repair range of a year and they were arogant as hell, ignoring calls, hanging up etc. Theres a lesson there kids, never buy second hand electricals. Then they wanted 90 quid to fix a well known design fault in their system.
It was then that I decided to come over to PS3 and apart from the slow start have not looked back yet. Does anyone here own Wipeout Pulse, any good?
