5. Nice to see stuff like Populous and the Warhawk addon.

   Still waiting for Pain, Everyday Shooter and more to arrive. Were the disks sent by cruise liner doing a stop by the Middle East first?

   Have read in the EU commmunity forums that Snakeball is supposed to be next week. Couldn’t see the game on the US store either, just the demo. Maybe just a screw up. Giving us games when we want them. tsk tsk for shame!

   Eidos going with the same marketing technique as used for Lair. Ignore crap reviews, just flood the place with making of videos.

   And while we’re here…. (in rant mood now)…. why do Playstation 3 owners need adverts for the Playstation 3??? I’m referring to past downloads and current US ones.

   Preaching to the converted (or at least poorly ported) surely? See what I did there?

7. @ 5 Shrui , you’re funny, I smiled. Poorly ported indeed. Ah!

   I’ve just spent a few minutes working out my next purchases. Burnout, Unreal, MGS4, Killzone, GT (prologue 28/03 is that right or wrong?), and GTA.

   I fancy a PS3 gormet looking version of N2O, remember that?

   Also, I’d like to know if there is any milage in requesting a PS1 to PS3HDD utility. Not that I have many PS1 games left, but I’d like to pop them onto my HDD for occational use.

   And while I’m requesting shit, I might as well ask for a patch to make my EyeToy work with PS3Eye software. Might not be as great as the new one, but I’d like to use what I’ve already got till I buy the new one. At the moment all I use it for is the mic.

   Right then, nearly Chrimbo Lunch time for me, so I’ll wish you all a very very merry Christmas. May the drinking season begin in earnest. See ya!

10. ID jus like to say, as a graphic designer, the new this is living adverts with all that crappy ‘european’ type of stuff, is really crap. Im refering to the advert with the dog at the beginin and that weird bloke that looks like a twat. i could hav created somethin better out of my ass. 12. I’ve just realised something… I’ve completely lost interest in Everyday Shooter. I used to be extremely excited about it. Was really looking forward to it. But it feels like it came out ages ago in the US. So long that it’s disappeared from the list of games that I wanted to play. How long could it possibly take to translate the text in the game from US English to UK English? Seriously. We speak the same language.

15. I was really hoping to have some Christmas fun with the family playing High Velocity Bowling, looks like that won’t happen now…

    I vote for the UK to be moved into the US region for the PSN store! I’m sick of having to wait months while games get converted into 37 different languages and go through 143 different certification checks to cover all other EU countries! (ok I made up the numbers but you get the idea!)

    Really disappointing, why can Toy Home be launched in the EU & US on the same day but not other games like H.V.B. (and PAIN for that matter)? I would have thought H.V.B. would have been a high priority Christmas Day title given how success the Wii is proving with families…

    And I’ve just given up on the Blastfactor expansion, I’m beginning to think that will never see the light of day in Europe…

    The sooner Sony move to a global PSN platform the better…

16. I got Toy Home, and the GHIII Boss Battle Track Pack.. Not a great update, but then it rarely is. It is a nice surprise to see that Toy Home is £4.99 here, and $9.99 in the US and they didnt just change $ for £ as is usual with these companies.

    There is still less content than the US Store but that’s a pretty good update. I’m quite happy with this update.

    Note: I really like some themes like the Heavenly Sword theme of the “Nature” theme BUT as there we can’t change the font color (can we?) that make the themes unusable (IMO). I think that would be a good fix to add to firmware.

    I saw the buy it option in the demo, when I tried it I got a message saying no updates available.

    Looks like it will be next week. Single player isn’t amazing but I think it will be funky on multiplayer!

    Warhawk add on should be free for people who registered PS3 accounts early enough to be deemed early adopters.
    Assassins’s Creed videos. what’s the point?
