In a recent interview on Gamasutra, Time Crisis 4 producer Teruaki Minami made some interesting points about the Guncon 3 and Namco wanting more companies to implement it into their titles.
The Guncon 3 is said to feature six LED markers, making it much more accurate than previous light guns and sounds like an impressive piece of hardware. Not only does it feature dual analogue sticks, it also has SIXAXIS capabilities, too.
Will they ever bring out a LightSabrecon or Daggercon?

Time Crisis 4 is getting some of the worst reviews I’ve seen on any PS3 game so far… I won’t be holding my breath for it, especially with my 2nd Uncharted playthrough waiting, and my 2nd and probably 3rd immersion into Mass Effect. Oh, and Metroid Prime 3 on the back burner. Nope, now is definitely not the time for mediocrity.

I have Time Crisis 4 since 2 days now. I think it is a great game and the guncon 3 is a great peace of hardware. Working very well on my 50″ TV.
Please correct your article. It is two markers, each having 3 LEDs. You place them on the top left and on the top right of you TV.
Precision is very good. It is better than Wii Remote since you can aim directly, which Wii Remote cannot do. I hope there will be many titles using GunCon3.

Please bring House of the Dead to PS3! That would rock and a seperate Guncon 3 for two player co-op.
