It’s GRAN Turismo, not GRAND.

Brand new trailer and screenshots, not the same as the E3 release.
Looks like about SIXTEEN cars can be on track at once now!

We need to see some in-game resources but with 15 cars confirmed I can’t contain myself. Thanks Polyphony & thanks Sony.

HOW BIG? LOL! Nice to see some super sized screenshots! Although, I don’t think you really need to go higher than 1920 x 1200 (or 1080p).

Seems Japan is getting this in October. I really hope it’s a global launch in October, plenty of time for Sony to get their crap together, no excuses this time around for Europe please..

Link from the 8th image down doesn’t go to the correct image.
Very pretty though. Any news on whether this is a purchase or free download? If it’s a purchase, any news on when PAL countries (Australia in particular) will be getting it?

Yep, it’s improving. It’s a must have, and quite frankly is one of the reasons why many many PS3’s are being sold. Everyone knows that if you’re into driving games, GranTurismo is the only place to be.
However, I’ve gotta say, for PS3, I’m expecting a hec of a lot more than what I’m seeing in these clips. Aren’t you? The grass, should be grass by now, even if it’s faked, but enough of the flat stuff. The whole environment is lacking the realism that I have come to anticipate. The air should have more depth to it, perhaps the clouds lower some times. Proper weather eather should be making an appearance by now. Someone mentioned that they’d like to see deformable sand traps like Motorstorms technology. This should be the same for the grass verges. Oh and do I need to mention the audio?
Here’s what GT has, driveability feel and control in spades. Replays that look kinda sweet!
What hasn’t it got, and is really really crying out for (well I am)? Engine noises that actually have some similarity to what we all actually hear. An AI that really is trying to win the race with it’s car, and reacts to my own driving and driving line. Deformable cars, either a little bit during a shunt or rub, or a total explosion and game over if I completely spoon it into a corner. It’s a driving simulator with an indestructable car at the moment.
Oh god, I love GT, but hate how close it is without being definitive. There are games out there with certain qualities that are better, so why can’t we just have those qualities grafted onto our Gran Turismo.
Erm, am I allowed to not like, but respect those feking licences? Damn I hate them, but I feel so pleased and elated when I pass those difficult ones.
Oooh, ooh, bikes! If anyone here has any influence, let’s ask if we can use the motion sensing to shift our riders bum. You know, dive into corner, steer, and with a tilt of the controller, hang our intrepid rider off the bike too. Anyway, I’m getting carried away here.
I just want more.

Erm, after my little rant, I’ve noticed that the grass is looking better isn’t it? Mmm! Anyway….
