All those eagerly anticipating news of Heavenly Sword will be glad to hear that you can get a sneak preview of what’s in store by watching Bravo this weekend. Take a look at the release below for further details:
This weekend an exclusive edition of Gamer TV dedicated to the forthcoming PlayStation 3 AAA title Heavenly Sword airs on UK satellite and cable channel Bravo. This half-hour programme takes an in-depth look at the making of the game, as well as revealing never before seen levels, characters and story elements.
Exclusive interviews with the cast, including Andy ‘Gollum’ Serkis, and unseen footage from the performance capture sessions at Weta Digital reveal how the game’s impressive cinematic sequences were created.
The programme concludes with a round-up of critical reaction to the game, which is hoping to launch its star Nariko as the next iconic female video game character.
Producer Jason Kilshaw said, “This should rev people up for next week’s E3 where Heavenly Sword will undoubtedly be a key PS3 title.”
The programme airs:
Saturday 7th July 10.00 am Bravo 2
Sunday 8th July 11.30 am Bravo
Monday 9th July 5.30 pm Bravo

I’ll be sure to Sky+ it!

Hmm, surely it’s up to end users to decide what a AAA tittle is, not Sony’s mouthpiece…

I was impressed by the Gamer TV preview, lot’s of new info and a detailed explanation of the gameplay mechanics.
Prior to seeing it I’ve heard the phrase “Goddess of War” used to describe this game and that’s exactly what I was expecting.
Thankfully though this game is more than a button masher and there are some intricate controls to master with the 3 stances and special moves. Looks like the type of game that will be easy to play but difficult to master. I loved the motion controlled cannon balls/arrows!
I’m also impressed with the cinematic elements, with a lot of effort going into the musical score and “acting”.
I know some people (mainly XBox owners) dislike cinematic sequences in games, but I love a game that can deliver an engaging story and entertaining gameplay in equal measure.
Thanks to the PS3’s blu-ray capacity we can probably expect more film quality HD cut sequences, and I’m personally glad about that!

Impressive. Bravo TV has really made a lot of entertaining shows for all ages. And now that they’ve a new show called Flipping Out which is about real estate investing. Okay, I know this is strange, but I really don’t ever write about people, but this Tori the psychic on the new Bravo show, Flipping Out… does anyone know more about her? She’s really fascinating.

Heavenly Sword is not better than God of War, but it is still fun.
