"Downscaled output of Blu-ray Discs is now supported. When 720p is selected as the video output setting of the PS3â„¢ system, Blu-ray Discs that were recorded in 1080p or 1080i resolution can be played in 720p resolution."  Needless to say I was very happy to see this, as I have been waiting patiently for it (I have a 720P LCD HDTV and was forced to use 1080i or down to 480P before.) Now that they have scaling working partially, they'll fix the 720P to 1080i issue...</description>
