Um, scratch what was said in the previous story about Bioshock. We’ll confirm either way as soon as we can. Meantime, consider Three Speech’s Easter eggs confiscated…
Addition to this story. There is currently no indication that Bioshock will come out on the PS3. Apologies for the previously inaccurate information. Steve Boxer will now not get any Easter eggs next year, either.
I’ll edit the post on my forum
you shouldn’t have write Bioshock in your previous blog post.

As soon as we can, hmmm? Timed exclusive confirmed!
Comment by holymoly — Apr 7, 2007 @ 2:09 pm
ThreeSpeech don’t know what and when and neither does Steve Boxer.
It’s rumormongering! It’s a way of getting more hits!
Don’t sink to the depths of speculation, if it’s coming out then 2K will tell you!
Comment by Ben Furneaux — Apr 7, 2007 @ 3:20 pm
No rumourmongering intended. It was just a straight-up reporting error.
Comment by Three Speech — Apr 7, 2007 @ 3:23 pm
Okay you can have mini eggs but nothing more you bad, bad company
Comment by Ben Furneaux — Apr 7, 2007 @ 3:53 pm
Dammit Ben mini eggs are too delicious
Comment by Pete Cullen — Apr 7, 2007 @ 4:37 pm
I think we should force Steve Boxer to eat hundereds of cream eggs to teach him a lesson.
Comment by Tom Eccles — Apr 7, 2007 @ 4:45 pm
A reporting error?
As in…. I’m a supposed expert, but actually don’t know shite
OR
As in… I shot my mouth off about something quiet
… i’m opting for the former - there’s nothing for anyone to gain in pretending it’s a 360 exclusive, especially at this late stage.
Comment by jamie — Apr 7, 2007 @ 4:58 pm
It’s just a little mistake by Steve, I don’t think it’s a reason to think about crazy theories. BioSHock was originaly announced for the PlayStation 3, so it’s normal that sme of us still have it in our minds.
Comment by Macrike — Apr 7, 2007 @ 6:00 pm
I’m getting sick of the media screwing up. There is no excuse for this “mistake”. Check your sources before releasing a information like this!
Comment by Steve — Apr 7, 2007 @ 6:04 pm
Won’t Bioware or wheoever just decide? First it’s PS3, then it’s not, then it appears in Magazine previews as PS3, now it’s not again. wtf is going on…
Comment by Dave — Apr 7, 2007 @ 6:52 pm
What a joke. Come on, for a semi official blog this site is worse then a 12 year olds first Geocities website.
Comment by vxd — Apr 7, 2007 @ 8:03 pm
timed exclusive, Which is exclusive to Microsoft. Wait until e3. 2 or 3 thought 360 exclusives are coming to the ps3
Comment by Paddy — Apr 7, 2007 @ 8:15 pm
I’d be happy with just finding out what the deal is with the 20GB ps3 apparently getting discontinued. I don’t know of any retailer that’s seen one since launch. My girlfriend’s agreed to pay for half of one since she’s even more of a japanese RPG addict than I am, but there’s no point in paying more for the 60GB. Now I find myself wanting to wait until I either find a 20GB (not happening) or there’s a price drop. In other words, a massively delayed sale.
Similar situation with the PSP. There’s a ton of rumours about a new model coming out… kinda kills incentive to buy the current one, right? Especially if the new PSP is a clamshell.
Sony seriously needs to stop being so incredibly tight-lipped. Where’s remote play for the psp from any wireless access point? That was supposed to happen last month, but I’ve heard nothing since. Phil Harrison was nice enough to mention DVD scaling in response to a question about how Sony didn’t like pre-announcing stuff… how’s that coming along?
This blog is the perfect place for this sort of thing. Hints would be nice, upcoming plans, schedules, “speculation”, I don’t care, I’m hungry for information.
Nice work on the game side though, that’s the kind of “speculation” that I’m looking for. Hehe.

The developer is working on a PS3 project which could be BioShock.

Talk about about getting your knickers in a knot. One slip and you get stuck into ‘em. Is Bio-Shock any good anyway ???

How is it a “reporting error”? It is not a typo or a small error you are reporting that a big gun title for an competing console is now multiplatform. If you can allow that big a mistake through your blog it is now no more reliable than some fanboys message board.

anyone read the latest nonsense on Joystiq? all those yank geeks ever want to do is bash this blog in the mnost nerdy way they can… its people like them wghoich make you think of gamings geeky embarrassing past…
“Our requests to Three Speech for the name of their editor and a list of their writers have been ignored previously. We continue to question who Three Speech is and what they represent. If they are a handled by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, like Sony America says, it might be time to tug the leash.”
Get a life nerds………
Comment by Most Gaming Media Stinks — Apr 8, 2007 @ 7:50 am
It’s all BS. In many ways Three Speech is much more up front and honest than joystiq, 1up etc. Just think of them as amateur hacks who’re so desperate for an ‘exclusive’ that all sense of reality has departed them.
Comment by Belfast Steps — Apr 8, 2007 @ 8:01 am
joystiq says:”Our requests to Three Speech for the name of their editor and a list of their writers have been ignored previously.”, Oooo scary stuff, watch out - they may use the Patriot Act. I hear Guantanamo has a few empty places…

@hugZ hahahahhahaha…nice
I would preferred if threespeech didn’t put up this apology topic, as I feel that many website have speculated that bioshock is coming to the ps3, but no one made a fuss then, but its more the web site that are ‘pushed’ in to having a go at Sony that are having a field day, ThreeSpeech, please my request to you is not to get pushed into saying sorry, as if people think you guys are BSing let them, if people believe you let them, joystiq, kotaku and 1up are more bias than other site I have seen, have you seen how they support the xbox360 and always using negative news for the ps3. But that their problem, I’m more disappointed to this apology than the actual issue. What if it does come to the ps3, no one is going to say sorry to threespeech.
For me gaming is more like a community, but nowadays it’s more like war, and which side you’re on. I now have all 3 consoles, so really, I happy either way, which console is comes on. But it’s the fanboism that I dislike.

If Bioshock comes to the PS3 the only exclusive games Microsoft has is Gears and Halo. And those to games take awhile to make between each game. So what else will Xbox 360 have NOTHING. Sony will have so many exclusives and xbox will be stuck with only to good exclusives.

@#21 - Nonsense at Joystiq? You consider ThreeSpeech, a blog that is more or less attached to Sony, more reliable than the free press? Ever heard of the word “propaganda” my friend?
@#26 - What good are your exclusives if they aren’t going to be released for a year?
Comment by Fred — Apr 8, 2007 @ 10:35 pm
Shame really - got my hopes up. Would be great if Bioshock did appear on the PS3 as I’d rather play it on my PS3 than my Xbox 360. Would be even better if Mass effect was on PS3 too.

Lp47: Well, MS has Blue Dragon as an exclusive, and as that’s a JRPG that hurts me more than the FPS games. Eternal Sonata is probably exclusive too, another JRPG.
Granted, the PS3 will always have all the first-party Sony games, which have a strong tendency to be awesome. Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, God of War, and so on.

Odds are, Mr. Boxer slipped with his tongue regarding something he wasn’t supposed to talk about, much like the OPM editor and Assasin’s Creed. Hopefully this is all leading up to a Bioshock PS3 announcement.

Seems like you guys hate sony so much you go after a semi offical blog with non-sence, blogs write errors evreyday so this means nothing.
One error in the blogs history = not a big deal.

Well played Basil Brush….. Sony is really running out of 3rd party exclusives and seem to be going the way of Nintendo; In that the only games worth bothering with on it are the 1st/2nd party stuff. Everything else is on both formats and the 360 has the edge both on affordability and a far superior online system. And no, Home (while quite cool) is far from being the competitor to Live, Markerplace or the 360’s Guide.
I own all 3 and the 360 is still monopolising all my gaming time.

Im not joking about it in a sense which tells that Bioshock is that cool that it has to come on the ps3 too that much, Im just saying that with the current exclusivity deals that ms signs there n there like fire, them paying somewhore the half of a production in some cases… That it is not the kind of jokes to do… its like hey guys we got mgs 4 and Final Fantasy going on psp… and then the next day uhh guys no its not heading to the psp its heading to the xbox 360… ohh and its exclusive we lost them…
