I've been sending my love for these two concepts all over the internet and I think they're both brilliant. Yes you can make comparisons between Home and Mii's, Achievements, Second Life and so on, but to stop there you'd be missing the whole picture.

As more info is released for both Home and LBP some people will be let down and some people will be elated. The fact of the matter is that both Home and LBP are extremely exciting tools for users and developers.

I simply can not wait.

LBP looks very impressive. Not a system seller, but still a great title.

I can see the appeal of Home, but it doesn't interest me. The one non-gaming bit I liked was the movie theater to download rentals?

Sony please crack the whip and get more exclusive games coming.

Add rumble support (even as an extra).

Sort out the backward PS2 compatibly.

Scary! Home is without doubt the future of online interaction. This will make online communities far more accessible.

Not sure that I would pay for a couch but I wouldn't mind exploring that great looking world.

i thought it was a good idea, but nothing special until i saw the video for 'home'. i think it could swing things in the battle of the consoles, especially with it being a free download.

one concern i would have is that it must be moderated correctly, if not, you will end up with groups of gamers annoting and harassing others, spoiling the idea. great idea though, when will it be released?

Home looks fantastic. I hope I can do the beta and will be checking the site every day for when it is opened. The only thing that I can see from the videos that I think should be changed would be the PSP navigation, seems a little clunky to me. I understand trying to sell more PSP's by integrating it, but it just seems a little forced. I think it would be better to have some type of menu system that is opaque, in that you can still see what is going on onscreen while you are navigating the different options. The other thing that may need to be fixed IMO is that when you watch a trailer in the theater or in your house, billboards, etc. would be nice to be able to have it fill your screen at home if you wanted to. It is nice to be able to sit down in a theater and watch it, but maybe you're wanting to see more details and have it fill up the screen. Just a couple ideas I had by watching the videos.

Firstly, i would like to say that Home looks like a great concept.

Pro: Retro arcades/pinball machines to own in the house???

Pro: Visiting the cinema and previewing films to download.

Pro: Virtual gigs - will we be able to mass meet at a virtual concert being played by a real band somewhere in real life???

Pro: Owning virtual property through achievements - will we be able to swap/sell????

Con: The real meeting places will become overcrowded

Con: The F1 game absolutely sucks - what a waste of an opportunity to give us something special

Con: PS3 is not out until 23 March!!!!
